Absolutely horrendous, a big tall lad who is crap at crosses and looks petrified to come out of his area. Never been a fan but this pre-season he looks pathetic.

So what would you want Everton to do? Spend 15-20m on a better, proven goalkeeper to replace Stekelenburg even though he likely will not see a minute of action this season unless Pickford gets an injury? Do you not think that sort of money would be better placed in pursuing a quality first-choice centre-back?

No need to be spending that much on a goalkeeper...just want better planning from the club in addressing the gaps in the squad. If Pickford picks up a really bad injury we could be in serious trouble. We are facing the same situation now with our centre backs. Just a few days left to save our defense...again bad planning because even if we get couple of decent defenders in next couple of days, it seems that we already going to go with what we have in the first game...miss opportunity
