Hes been outstanding this season, really one of his best, despite Utd being gash, strangely i think he plays his best stuff when his teams are up against it.

Superb footballer when hes up for it.

Bob Pendleton reckons Wayne will come back.

The only way he would've move to Everton, would be if it made financial sense, a footballer is a cash cow to his family and large team of advisers. His career has has 6 or 7 years tops. I seriously doubt he has a strong enough emotional connection as an Evertonian to fore sake a large signing on fee and a weekly wage of 100k. So in my opinion unless an Arabian strolls out of the desert, we will only see Wayne in the stands.

I do not wish to see Rooney back, he is 28years old now is he not. So if he comes back to us it will be as an injury prone over 30s hack telling us he was always a blue, no thank you.

Keep forgetting how old he is! I'm not sure I'd want him back, I always thought the most appealing part of his game was coached out of him by Man U, I preferred the kid with all the tricks to the power and pace type united molded him into. Give me Deulofeu any day.

Has Rooney ever been asked about this more recently?

Also without wanting to cause any offence, has anyone seen the size of the other blokes in his family!!! They are big dudes, I'm 34 now and keeping the weight off has been a lot more difficult over the last few years and I'm pretty skinny.

I think nature will begin to catch up with him soon and start affecting his ability. So we probably won't need or want him in a couple of years. Our squad will also have moved on and hopefully he wouldn't get in it.

I was at Tony Hibbert's testimonial dinner a few months ago and asked Hibbo about it. He said he speaks to Wayne quite often and that he wants to come back. And that was when Moyes was still the gaffer! (Incidentally, Moyes was also at that dinner; he was a grumpy sod and left early)

Sona to be any use to us he would have to come back within the next year and lower his financial rquirements.

AS for the other part of the post I see our EX has not changed.LOL.

I agree mate. Just posting what I was told, as it may be of interest to this debate.

If he signed on a free when his contract expires, 2 or 3 year deal with 40k a week wages, we'd be daft to say no. That'd take him to age 33. (Incidentally, contrary to the belief of many on this forum, a footballer's legs do not fall off at the age of 30).

How much money does one man need? Surely he should take a wage cut as an "apology" for his past misdemeanours? Then again, he was badly advised at the time and might be again.

Why do people always think because someone's got 50 million quid or whatever they wouldn't be arsed about another 50 million???

Money will always matter.
