obviously, but it's just notes mate. If i have however much money he has behind him, i wouldn't even think twice about returning to play for the blues. don't care if nobody believes me, i just wouldn't. 99% certain i wouldn't have left in the first place though, i would know i was going to earn much more than the average male for only 20-25 years work. May as well doing it being employed by a football club i love more than any.

I mean if i was a pro footballer, i'd give much more playing for everton than i would any other.

He could get that at Celtic or some **** Danish club, Man U may not even qualify yet. Also if he does stay, he may play in the CL with Man U but he's got about as much chance of winning it than we have of winning the PL. With the state of the squad at Man U now, I cant see them winning anything in the next 2-3 years whilst they are in transition/decline.

Thing is though, every football fan says something like the above. The reality is that when those football fans (like Rooney) actually get in that position 99% of them don't do it, they go where the money and the success is.
