What bits do you disagree with?

All of it, Howard is [Poor language removed] but he'd still get in to loads of teams in the prem, as would besic ( who's far from championship standard ) mirallas scored double figures last season and had a quality Season in bobbys first year aswell

Barkley for 30mill is the best though not even going to bother answering that one mate

Fella behind me in the Fam Enc hates Ross, nice chap he is, but he just does not see anything in him. Bizarre, I know.

I see potential but there's a big question mark on how it translates. £30m+ would be the smart business decision in my book. £30m+ can buy proven top level talent. Barkley isn't there yet and, as a club, I'd back Martinez to use that money really well.

The world is indeed full of opinions old fruit.

Forget the reputation and all the baggage (@Dithering Dougie ) that comes with Howard. On performance terms alone I don't see him being any better than the goalies for say Bournemouth or Villa.

Besic - I must have been watching a different team. Sure he's got nice tats though but not enough on the pitch.

Mirallas is now just an impact sub. For £10m+ that's too rich a luxury for us - never mind his moods.

But Howard can't "overrated" if nobody rates him ANYMORE we all know he's declined

Besic hasn't really had much game time lately but when he has he hasn't really done anything bad of note, has fitted in and done a job, sometimes brilliantly

Mirallas hasn't been given a run this season because of his early season injury and the form of others but he is far from an impact sub

Again with Barkley, he's got 6 goals already this season (5 in 13) in the league and numerous assists how is he overrated, that's what he's doing at his young age without reaching his full potential yet, agree everyone has opinions but Kinell lad taking the biscuit with yours here

Disagree with that one mate - when we finished 4th in 2005, a good chunk of those points were down to Martyn playing very well.

Richard Wright going off injured was one of the best things that could've happened to Moyes.

We overrate him. He had a great season that season no doubt. Been watching our games from the season prior recently...he was not good.

The eye test doesn't lie...nor the stats.

I love a biscuit me.

Howard - some folk reckon he's currently good enough and Premier League standard. To me, that's an over rating.

Besic - he's played a decent amount of minutes now all told. I just don't reckon he has it. Better to gear up to sell now to maybe a team fighting relegation to the Championship or fighting to get promoted from there. Bank the cash and move on. His tats can delight some other place.

Mirallas - I think selling would be good business. Could get in Charlie Austin for what we'd bank on Mirallas.

Barkley - I'm rating him at £30m+. I think he has talent. Just not as much as some seem to think.

Boo! Martyn was ace in my book. With him in our current team he'd be worth 5-10 points more than Howard. Easily.

Hang on sell mirallas ( a proven match winner, with obvious talent ) for Charlie Austin who had one good year in the top flight and is somebody wouldn't play anyway if lukaku is fit

If you think Ross is a £30m player, then why the heck would you sell him? Makes. No. Sense.

What you're not seeing mate is that Barkley is the best we're gonna get at the moment (and he's improving so much this season and he's still only 21). You seem dead-set that he's not gonna get any better, but I just can't see why you think that.

And even if we were to sell him for say, £30mil, (probably his market value), then who are we going to get in to play the same role that is better and that would leave the club they're at to come to us?

He doesn't even need to get better. On current form, he's set to finish the season with 14/15 league goals and 11/12 assists. The fact he's still so young and likely to improve, just makes him even more exciting.

For 3 years he was crap, shooting from the corner flag, beating his chest for nothing, and his hilarious tackling style, booting the ball as hard as he could against the opposing player.....but the lids in the Street end loved it.
Oh, and by the way, he got us into the Champions League. We in the Park End loved that bit.
