Personally, I like as few of our players as possible at these events to make sure they get a good rest and a full pre-season but I appreciate others have differing views.

Can't hurt though. Our players look done in at the moment, plonk a world cup on top and they'll look even worse, imo.

In some ways it's a bit of an indictment of how poor our player trading has been that so few of our players are at the world cup but, on the other hand, it should mean our squad is fresh and ready to go when August rolls by.
