...Alright bar 1 game, I hated his dummy-spitting face around our squad.
He wasn't really arsed but I don't remember Eto'o in the limited minutes he played for us ever looking proper crap and of overrated quality, can you?
Of the current squad I'd have to say Oviedo, when he hasn't been injured i can only really recall a few good games he played in 2013/14. Generally either on the bench or injured but seems very highly rated.

We got over 4 million for him which is the most he's ever been sold for and a reasonable chunk back then for what essentially a lower leagues clogger.
I have to say some of the eulogising of that goal bordered on the ridiculous. I remember thinking at the time I don't think I've ever seen someone run with the ball for such a length of time with never actually having it under control!

These mirallas shouts lol it's hard to be consistent when your not getting a game, he's still one of the best players at the club, good goal scoring record and cost us buttons not sure how that's overrated like

In a season were even our best players looked mostly average he couldn't even register as decent because he was that anonymous.

Current players that I think are over rated:
Howard, Mirallas, Besic and Barkley. For the last three it's not that I think they're useless at all. Just they are not as good, in my opinion, as many fans seem to feel.
Howard - useless now. An embarrassment and one area that opponents will really focus on. He couldn't even get a gig in the championship.
Mirallas - decent but his temperament is dodgy and he's never done it for us on a consistent basis. Would sell in January for £10m+
Besic - I've not seen anything yet to suggest he's more than a championship player
Barkley - I think he's very good but would sell for £30m+ in January. I'm not convinced he will push on and improve his consistency and delivery.

1. Howard wouldn't get into a championship side? behave mate, i don't rate Howard at all - but frankly that's just an absurd and blatantly untrue statement
2. Mirallas has never done it on a consistent basis - 14/15 - 11 goals 3 assists in 36 games, 13/14 - 8 goals 11 assists in 37 games, 12/13 - 9 goals 9 assists in 33 games, so the last 3 seasons he had a hand in 14 goals in 36 games, 19 goals in 37, and 18 in 33. that to me is very consistant production from a winger, yet again i don't disagree we should maybe move him on - but don't just invent stuff that's blatantly not true
3. Besic is no more than championship standard? Really? you think that then you haven't seen many championship games or many premiership ones either - he's a talented young player who is no world beater yet but is far from championship standard mate
4. You'd sell Barkley for 30m in January - just lol - yeah 20m less than Sterling went for would be great business, also have you seen him this season - improving his consistency and delivery by miles over previous years? as for selling him in January - yeah that 30m would be well worth utterly wrecking the morale and form of the team mate.
