Proven lies or things you think will turn out to be lies? Why is he talking to jim white over us?
He is like a carbon copy of kenwright.. all talk all lies
Horrendous
I'm sure you're a red at timesLet's deal in facts shall we rather than spin.
- You'll see how debt free we are when the AGM comes around
- The money was there in the summer ONLY after Stones was sold
- The stadium is still a distant dream and certainly less advanced than a couple of schemes that we had underway when Kenwright was calling the shots.
That's not what I've said. I've said a few times in this thread alone that the difference between the two is that one has credibility where stadium buildings are concerned and the other are a busted flush.
But on the substance of a plan to get us to a built stadium and financially competing - that is completely correct also. Player sales + tv cash without any boost of the commercial arm of the club revenue generating machine until we get a new stadium = status quo for the next few years at least. That was the real story from yesterday's Moshiri interview: the notice served to us all that squad improvement would rely on commercial improvement on the back of a brand new stadium being financially exploited.
Maybe I'm being naive, but I'd have thought that the beauty of having a billionaire businessman in control would be that he'd be able to make sure the commercial revenue of this club was being boosted dramatically in the meantime so that the club's squad investment wouldn't be hindered by FFP rules. Listening to Moshiri yesterday though it's clear that commercial transformation will only take place post-stadium build.
I see no tangible difference therefore between this regime and the last.

If there was money to be made from expertise in being blagged by Bill Kenwright, I would be a far, far richer man than Farhad Moshiri. It's amazing how little so many managers and owners know about business and football compared to the average person on here. They are some lucky so and so''s getting where they are with that level of ignorance.
Makes me frustrated and jealous.
I'm less positive about the future than I was having heard that interview.
Whys that?
Errrm....
That was probably a bit too strong of a claim on my part TBH lol
To me he just sounded less credible than I'd thought he was. A lot of exaggeration and hyperbole, references to Kenwright being the biggest blue in the world. Probably reading too much into it though
Is it just me who finds our owner being bezzy mates with a lego head like Jim White weird?
