I turned it on, and that Professional Libpool fan was just called in. They treat him like he is the king knowledge of football.

Was banging on last year about all the great youth they have, and Ibe is better than Sterling.......look how that turned out.
Is that the clown called Tony , an absolute beaut . ! I hate the Rs

Tough choice...

Few other things mate.

Put entirely the responsibility on the sale of Stones onto Martinez having agreed he could be sold the year before with the player and on Koeman who told him he could be sold - no mention of the having to sell to increase wages - althpough he does mention that 7m increase and commercial deal restrictiuon - which is odd as sellign stones makes those restrictions irrelevant to us this season - yet we spent nay a penny of the allowed icnrease...

No Mention of the Witsle fiasco, but a total U-Turn on his previous statement regarding Sissoko and McCarthy etc

Maybe mentions the players we failed at the end to get in - because with deadline approaching their is a nice convenient excuse of runnign out of time, whereas with other earlier targets it is shown that we just failed massively and where inept in the dealings/negotiations

Sceptical hat on till i see a shovel in the ground on the docks for a new site.

Someone had it bang on above earlier mate: trounced at the weekend > natives getting restless > trundle out another Jim White communique.

As you say: he sounds like a 'no flies on me' type of feller.

The substantial part of the interview was on debt repayment. I noticed he accepted he'd 'invested' £80M into the club (his shares), but with the repayment of the securitization debt the word was 'we'. That cash wont be coming from him, and if it is it'll be paid back in the near future.

I heard nothing there that persuaded me that a stadium deal was imminent or that our days of selling top players are over.

This place lol

"Why isn't Moshiri telling us things? He should be updating the fans, we have a right to know what's going on"

"Why is Moshiri on Talksport? This is not the specific medium upon which I wish to be updated"

"Why is Moshiri saying things to the fans? He should be out there building a stadium by now rather than telling us what might be happening"

It's Everton, someone will always find something to moan about.

The overall feeling on here seems to be, at the very least, distrust and in many cases a belief that he is lying through his teeth.
If he really has paid off £80m (?) in debt is now the time to eff him off? Got the money - get rid of him!

It's not quite a simple as popping in the shop and buying a chocolate bar. If there are numerous potential sites then lots will have to be weighed up before we make a decision on the best one. I'd rather wait an extra couple of months and get it right rather than try and rush something through to appease fans.
Absolutely I agree, but until a site is secured then I personally don't give any credence to claims that there has been significant progress on a new stadium, there can't be if they don't know where it is.

I'll happily wait and see. Would love it if gets us what we want.

Cheers Terry

"...tried our hardest to keep the lad...he was sobbing and shaking...how could we stand in his way....?"

Not looking good Dave. It seems clear now the " insider gang" have a new mouthpiece but the same playbook which means they will be pulling the wool over the fans eyes for years to come till they flip the club.

I read a great post from another blue on TPF I think it sums up Everton for the last 21 years.

"spoke to somebody who had gone from Everton to United- they said it was a different world- at United it was 'what can we do to make us become and remain the best in the world' at everton it was 'what can we do with the budget we have'.

that is a massive difference both in terms of finance and attitude"
