Moshiri on Jim White show on TalkSport today....

I understand why people are reluctant to get carried away by a few positive words from the person in charge. After all, we’ve been stung on numerous occasions in the past. However, although we haven’t quite made the strides we’d have liked by this point regarding playing staff, we have seen some positive action. It’s not just words as he is backing quite a bit of this up (debt being cleared/ground being moved along etc)

That talk of Usmanov being at the bridge with him on Saturday did make my ears [Poor language removed] up, though.

Hahahaha [Poor language removed] !!!!! hahaa!

This place lol

"Why isn't Moshiri telling us things? He should be updating the fans, we have a right to know what's going on"

"Why is Moshiri on Talksport? This is not the specific medium upon which I wish to be updated"

"Why is Moshiri saying things to the fans? He should be out there building a stadium by now rather than telling us what might be happening"

Aye mate, but with a sceptical hat on, seemed to me anyways that he went out of his way to point out how much total control and say that Koeman has on all matters in recruitment - who left and who came in and every other matter regarding the team, no mention of the actual DoF - so pressure squarely on Koeman in my eyes from that interview
fantastic in my eyes. No silly arse set ups at the club. give the manager control over the football related activity, have a glorified chief scout with a track record and just leave it there. I prefer it that way to be honest, i want the manager to be the one calling the shots, so they can live or die by that

No reason to not believe him as of yet, if there's still been no significant investment into the squad by the end of next summer then I'll begin to be sceptical.
Me too. Not joining the group that are and have already written him off as a fraud without evidence until the end of summer and yet again it all depends on who we go for and if we can get them....that boils down to Koeman and Walsh. We cannot offer CL football so its not going to be easy to find the targets as we found out last summer. Moshiri will supply the funds and the rest is up to Koeman and Walsh but you just know if we have another bad window Moshiri will get the blame. As long as the funds are there then its job done for Moshiri.

Got to get a context filter on the swear word detector thing.

No that'd be unreasonable, but if we are indeed making progress on it as a lot of people seem to think then I'd expect to know where it's going to be, but he hasn't said that has he?

We'll have to disagree on the squad then, I honestly think we need a complete overhaul

Cheers Terry

It's not quite a simple as popping in the shop and buying a chocolate bar. If there are numerous potential sites then lots will have to be weighed up before we make a decision on the best one. I'd rather wait an extra couple of months and get it right rather than try and rush something through to appease fans.
