Left Back Debacle

24 year old left back at Bayern with a decent amount of pace and an attacking head on his shoulders. In and out of the team.

latest

Has started the last 4 prem games. Unlikely to sell if Ashley Young and Darmian are your only alternatives.
Now there’s a name that hasn’t been mentioned
Anybody any insights into Darmian
I know he was useful the first few months at United , not so sure now.
He’s a left footed player
He’s a defender
He’s better than Martina
Surely that fits all the criteria

@roydo will explain all

Just seen this. The Bristol City LB/LM lad?

Yeah, very bright lad, and his Dad saved the life of Bristols managers Dad. Been at the club since 8, on and off, but sort of fell into football as he grew up. Went to one of the best private schools in the country.

Not your typical footballer. But the Liam Walsh deal might have greased a wheel or 2.........

Is he a left back @roydo
Some confusion over wether he’s a LB a LWB or a left sided midfielder. IMO we need a specialist LB
If he has attacking attributes , all the better but first and foremost , he must be a defender.

He can do both. Against Wolves, and United, they had an Icelandic LB, Magnusson, with him playing infront. Baines/Peanuts esq.

And Magnusson can do ace Icelandic long throws to boot. I would take em both personally. But I am biased.

As an out and out FB who is the better of the 2
If it’s Magnusson maybe Siggy will put in a word.
Although by all accounts ( yours mainly ) the owner is minted and they are pushing for top 6 so maybe neither is realistic.
