Left Back Debacle

in the most competitive league in the world theres upgrades everywhere. Not asking for a LB replacement superstar.... Asking for an actual left back.

I was being facetious. Mocking the apologists for the board, if you like. Of course there would have been plenty of options available; hell, even at 55 I could do a better job than Martina.

would prefer kieran, isnt it obvious? huge talent at 20. would see a lot of football here over the next 3 years while having baines mentoring him. even if he does leave for a bigger club he would be good for all parties.

Hope we sign him just so 45 minutes into his debut I can go back and like all those posts where people thought Martina was playing well.

I may be totally wrong in this but here goes.
FSA has said one transfer at a time.
Kenwright has said Walsh is looking after transfers now
In Everton terms the Tosun deal was done quickly know how hard Turkish teams are normally to deal with.
I think Tosun pushing for the move helped.
The Walcott deal was done quickly in Everton terms.
After the WBA game we have a bit of a break and FSA has said we are not going away as he wants to be here ( players as well ) for transfers
FSA and Walsh have sat down and said who do need and who can we get.
We needed a Striker and we got one
Needed pace and goals on the right and we got Walcott
I despise FSA but he’s no footballing fool
either is Walsh by the way.
No one knows how him and Koeman worked and who signed off on what transfers.
They both know we need a LB
Would a top class LB got us even one point against Manure , the RS or Spurs ??
Shaw has been touted as a target but this depends on ( according to some ) Rose being sold to Manure
Manures first choice LB is back from suspension and Bortwick Jackson is being recalled , so do United need 3 full backs and possibly Rose as well.
FSA and Walsh know we need a LB
FSA wants a good run to stay in the Job for the full 18 months and possibly longer.
It’s the biggest club job he’s ever had and the chance of breaking into the top 6 and putting 2 fingers up to the FA and TV critics who say he’s only a rescue merchant must be appealing.
We need a LB and I think FSA and Walsh will sign one.
Who I’ve no idea possibly Shaw , possibly the Spanish lad but I’m fairly confident we will sign one.

A blind man on a galloping horse could see we need a lift back. Let's be honest, almost any player would be an upgrade. Even Arron Cresswell.
If we get a left back who can play, another centre half we will be in much better shape and could finish 7th but only if we have a game plan that doesn't include us becoming more boring than the team who can't get one shot on target over the course of a game.
