You need to be referring to the national-religious settlers in the West Bank as much as Hamas when you make statements like that. They are every bit as much a death cult, their behaviour is comparable in its evil, and they have the full backing of the current Israeli government. In fact, they fill several posts within it.
There are no 'ordinary Israelis', those like orthodox and Hacidic are anti zionists. The people arriving from other lands try to 'fit in' with how they percieve they should, taking over Palestinian homes and baiting the locals, as much out of desire to do 'the Israeli thing' as out of desperation.

It's the same principle here how I see it: a regime doing something terrible, but small in the context of the retaliation that takes place against the people it claims to represent but is probably just as unwelcome. To allow the Palestinians to suffer in the name of wiping out Hamas is along the lines of defeating Al Queda and Saddam Hussein. Both ended in terrible wastes of life, and surely we should be learning by now. Unfortunately, we don't.
It is that. Just curious as, prior to the last few days, since the hospital bombing, I'd never heard a connection between Hamas and Isis, Hamas was always a stand alone organisation, unconnected to any jihadist group.
Weird they make very strange and fortunate bedfellows at this time.
