There's a lot of tension at the moment in Iran, a plane crashed there and everyone's suspending flights over that exact country, so yeah you're chatting out your arse.

I'm really not, but keep the condescension going, it makes people really want to have a conversation with you.

All I said was to stop being hyperbolic. People thought troops were about to be deployed, guns would be a blazing and WW3 was going to break out. The plane crash only exacerbated those fears. Suspending flights over a country that just had a member of its government assassinated, then had a flight crash on its soil doesn't mean I'm wrong in saying lets wait and see what happened.

It's been what? A whopping 4 days and Iran had came out and said they unfortunately shot the plane down. It's a horrible situation. I don't see what rushing to judgments in the moment achieved.

The Iranians unfortunately shot the plane down. Some blame maybe able to be placed on the Americans. I don't believe the Iranians had the intention of shooting every airliner out the sky. It's an extremely sad situation.

But yea, you're right... that's all you seem to care about.

Now another terrorist act on Iran and Iraq in a long long line of them breaking all sorts of international laws as usual. See people in this thread are mostly British, Irish, etc not from the Middle East certainly so we have not been exposed to any propaganda from the Middle East. That lad they found in Pakistan? They are still in Afghanistan and have not defeated the taliban after 17 years. And will eventually have to admit defeat when they will have to pull out one of these decades. The worlds worst terrorists are America and co they need to be overthrowing if we have any possible chance of peace.183,535 – 206,107 civilian deaths in Iraq alone over that war and it’s still in a worse state over America than when Sadam was in. Not going to get into all the other countries America are terrorising. These are not good people also inthe Middle East domestically. But thats thier peoples problem to solve. And to say America have thier peoples oppression in mind when they are on a power and oil crusade is laughable.

There’s a bigger threat that we need to solve at home in the west.

As for Afghanistan - we invaded one of the worlds poorest, most hard to defeat countries in search of a Saudi man, funded by Saudi money, preaching a Saudi form of Islam, because of a plot he had led using mostly Saudis.

Not really.

Afghanistan was invaded because the then government had allowed a foreign-funded, foreign-armed and foreign terror group to reside in the country that could (and did) move the moment the invasion begun; dealing with al-Qaeda in Afghanistan did not require the country to be occupied. Iraq (in 2003 at least) was no threat to anyone, and was complying with the inspection regime.

That doesnt fit the narrative though. Pence even tried to blame Soleimani for helping the terrorists of 9/11 which is laughable as Al-Qaeda was one of Iran's biggest enemies.

But I suppose like everything else that doesnt matter to white westernised and mostly uneducated Americans, all them brown middle eastern people are the same.
