Because the when the information was coming out it crashed during takeoff, not two minutes after, and people were somehow bringing an apparent earthquake that happened that same day into it also. It all reeked of conspiracy theorists getting opinions out before any investigation as to what caused the crash has began. So yes, people were getting hyperbolic. Telling me to pipe down is just saying you disagree with me so don't talk. That's ridiculous child like behavior.
No he didn’t, he was dead. Someone else started the war......
Where's Baldrick when you need him?
Sanctions don't limit the influence of Iran. All they do is make their population suffer. And numerous UN inspections have concluded there is no evidence to suggest Iran is trying to produce nuclear weapons. Even Mossad would confirm that.
Yea I would... That would be an unnecessary escalation when their response seems like it was mostly for show. Would any answer I give please you? Because it sounds like a leading yes or no question where both answers would be insufferable to you.
I'm hoping that it will calm down a little now, and hopefully not re-escalate.
I have no beef with the people of them middle east. I hope that they find a peaceful way out of this and that we in the west are judicious in using our influence/ power/ etc. to aid in this.
Soleimani was obviously a wrong un, and Iran through him have been provoking everyone for a long time that something like this was bound to flare up to some degree. Trump strikes me as impulsive and sometimes that is a necessary evil. I hope now that more calming influences on all sides win out and things start to lose their heat over there.
Throwaway thought: Yesterday it occurred to be that Iran was almost like a 'science fiction' society to me - Theocratic leadership and judicial system there as opposed to democratic here, so there would be major differences, but then on top of that it's based on an Abrahamic religion which have held sway in the west too for 1500 to 2000 years so things should not be so alien between either side.
Can’t find anything about that. Got any links? All I’d read previously is that Mossad confirmed they could find no evidence of Iran making weapons, same as numerous UN inspections.Especially since the IDF bombed their fast breeder reactor and enrichment site about 5 years ago and Mossad took out most of the team working on it. That's what really killed off the Iranian bomb.
A fair point. Blair was also evangelical and look what he did over there.I look at the hold evangelical nutcases have on the Republican party and I'm not sure I see a great deal of difference tbh.

Any plans for Israel to do anything about its big nuclear arsenal?
Which wing Political or Militray? What's your definition for Hezbollah?
Confused as to how that "killed off the Iranian bomb" when it's a Syrian facility and has not so much as touched any facilities on Iranian soil.I'm sorry, I've got myself confused. It was 2007 and it was Syria.
As to your second point (and not derailing the thread by getting into the rights and wrongs of it) as a state which relies on a big stick for it's continued existence, probably not.
