I’d really wish Iran would just leave it now. They attacked 2 us military bases with rockets. And apparently Trump is not going to do anything about it. He is backing down it seems. Well if what e says s to be believed. He is trying to make it like getting his military base blown up is Iran backing down so maybe Trump really is going to surrender and not respond. But I really wish Iran don’t go further like reports are saying.

It's a bit rich to claim that Trump supporters are apparently happy to change their tune when Liberals say killing terrorists = good when Obama does it, but bad when Trump does it. Examine your own conscience my friend.

You think a religious conviction is the reasoning behind Republican policy? There is actually far simpler reason for suggesting why they propose taking action against Iran. I've helped to possibly outline some of it above. I doubt there religious beliefs have much to do with it.

I think evangelicals are just weird full stop, and so any political party that's beholden to them is not good, let alone one that happens to be in government. Given that such close links seem in direct contradiction to the first amendment seems, as with so much, to be a principle that conservatives are happy to overlook just so long as they get their own way. It's placed on the bonfire shortly after 'thou shalt not kill*"




*but you must have enough personal firearms to equip a small army, just in case and turn a blind eye when your guy threatens to murder 9 million foreigners
 
The breaking news is that Downing Street is looking into reports it was shot down, not that they say it was shot down

United States right-back Sergino Dest has left Ajax's training camp in Qatar because he did "not feel comfortable", the Dutch club have said.
It comes amid rising political tensions between the US and Qatar's neighbour Iran.
Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani was killed at Baghdad airport in an air strike ordered by US president Donald Trump.
Iran retaliated by firing missiles at air bases housing US forces in Iraq.
On Saturday, US Soccer postponed a men's training camp in Qatar - which will host the 2022 World Cup - because of "developing tensions" in the region.
Dest, 19, was born in the Dutch city of Almere but has an American father and chose to represent the US in October. He has won three caps.
"Sergino Dest has asked if he could leave Ajax's training camp in Qatar," Ajax said in a statement. "He didn't feel comfortable. Ajax understands his request and has responded to it."
Dest will return to Amsterdam to train with Ajax's reserve team.

I said the same yesterday and got shouted down by someone.

Too much of a coincidence with missiles flying around at the same time.

Who shot it down though, the Iranians, the Iraqis or someone else?

If it’s the Iranians I hope Donald gives them some more pain.

We should definitely cancel the EPL for this year, give everyone a four month break and start again next season.....

Fog of war you’d imagine , I’m sure that I read Iran had stated it wanted all US aircraft grounded shortly Before the Ukrainian jet took off . Perhaps they assumed it was a provocative act by the US and one of their military aircraft .

Who knows but the Iranian response so far and the overall response to the plane’s crash doesn’t seem to mesh with it being a deliberate act .
