He doesn't want to be detained? Then he shouldn't be agitating then.

Imagine the Iranian ambassador to Britain joining in a pro-independence march in Scotland.

The British government and it's variety of Pravda news outlets are the biggest bunch of hypocrites in the world.

He attended what started as a vigil for those killed when the plane was shot down.

He said he left when it turned into a protest. He wasn't arrested at the vigil/protest.

You could argue it's a he said she said scenario, but bear in mind that Iran first said they did not fire a missile at the plane.

The killing of a country's top general without any consideration for the consequences or impact it might have on an already unstable region, and then tweeting about it as if he was a twelve year old x box player, is the height of cluelessness. He is a simpleton
The way I see it is that the killing of civilians is an act of terror.

The killing of any military figure is an act of war.

He said this, he said that. He's the ambassador there, do you think he didn't know WTF he was doing and how it would look?

Was he agitating or merely attending a vigil for the dead, and gaining an insight as to what was going on, as per why we employ him.

Meanwhile, illegally, he was arrested. Notice the word illegally, as in it is not legal.

Now I can understand Corbyn saying what he says, as he gets paid from Iranian TV, but I find it hard to understand why anyone else would defend an illegal arrest of an ambassador.....

He's a spy at the end of the day.

Of course, they all are, but it is illegal to arrest them.....
He had no ID and merely claimed to be who he was. He was released shortly after it was confirmed he was who he claimed to be.

He was down there at the protests gathering info. A spy.
