So you keep saying hmmm

So I'm lying about not voting for and wouldn't vote for Trump on a forum? What does that do for me? None of you know me, and if you've met any Trump supporter you'd know they don't really hide from it.

It's kinda what got him enough votes to be elected, but lose the popular vote.

I'll give you full disclosure, I'm one of those loser Ron/Rand Paul voters except I'm a bit more realistic. I understand a gold standard, adopting extreme isolationist policies aren't practical.

I know they wouldn't ever get elected because while I agree with them philosophically, they completely lack pragmatism and carry out their Libertarian beliefs to an unrealistic end and end up saying something dumb to shoot themselves in the foot.

I'm from NY, I've known about Trump and his crap before he started his little beef with Rosie in like 2000. I also know this state is going blue either way so it really doesn't matter. I didn't like Hillary either, so I usually just sit general statewide elections out. I just vote for local elections, and usually lose because I live in a district that can go to either side.

Continue on though. It's amazing how some of you want to create an enemy out of anyone who remotely disagrees with you on one thing.

I'll say this too, I think that both sides have legitimate points on the Iran and Sulieman situation. I just happen to think that taking him out in that moment given what had happened wasn't the worst course of action. I also think if you look at American foreign policy, perhaps if you read the next 100 years by Friedman you'd have a better grasp of American foreign policy recently and going forward.

That might actually take effort though.

I also, which means nothing because I don't use it, have a degree in political science and a minor in history. I'm far, far away from some confederate flag waving, confederate statue protecting, American exceptionalism bragging Trump supporter.

Amazes me how people have different rules for different countries/races/religions/sexes.

Saudi is one of the worst for human rights, is slaughtering millions in yemen, causing horrific famine and actually murdered and dismembered a Washington post journalist in a foreign embassy........ but they are ok as they spend billions on military equipment lining the pockets of poweeful American/UK defence contractors

China is one of the most opressing regimes that are holding and torturing millions of muslims, putting their children in 'orphanges' and indoctrinating them, but its ok because they provide cheap labour and billions in exported goods.

Then you have Russia/N.Korea etc who kill any dissenters or opposition.

It seems that your only a bad man/country if you are not providing America with money/oil/resources.

But its ok when Trump and his cronies are running for profit concentration camps, commiting all kinds of human rights abuses

To be honest I don't think anyone actually likes the Saudi regime, in terms of the average person. Perhaps I'm too close to it since I'm from NY, but I think anyone who knows what's up doesn't care for them and our support for them at all.

They basically get a pass for everything and 9/11 because they act as a counterbalance to Iran in the region and avoid problems with Israel.

It's really gross.

Ching Ching for the shareholders of Milatray hardware... And yippee ki yay for Armchair generals, western ones that is.

'Lockheed Martin, the American conglomerate which is by far the world’s largest arms producer with showcase weaponry such as the F-35 fighter jet, saw its value reach an all-time high last Friday, increasing by $4.2bn in a single day to $116bn.'

'BAE Systems, Britain’s largest defence company and currently ranked as the sixth biggest in the world with the help of its key role in the Eurofighter Typhoon, saw its value rise by £256m in the hours after the Iranian general’s death - a figure which has reached nearly £1bn'.

A blatant violation of the Vienna Convention.
Raab and UK foreign policy (from Tories and Labour in particular) is such a joke. We are just appeasers letting Iran seize our vessels for weeks, arrest our officials, shoot down civilian planes, attack their neighbours (and our allies in the region) and still we try to help them out and undo the impact of sanctions on Iran so they can spend their money on terrorism and try and keep alive this disastrous Iran deal. What a farce.

A plane crash? Really?

Look if Jeremy Corbyn starts calling the Iranian government out on it's acts he won't be getting paid to go on Press TV and criticise the UK (afer, by the way, they were investigated for broadcasting a confession known to tortured out of a journalist) once he steps down as Labour leader.

Saints who are too good for this world have bills too, you know.

Wouldn't have to do anything if the clueless donk in the White House didn't decide to hit the hornet's nest for no discernible reason tbf
