He is not sending him to Greenland FC is he ....
He always could have, but you are watching a player with half a season of gametime.Looking more and more like Joey was spot on - he would have made a positive difference staying....
Yep he's ahead of Tim now I thinkHe’s a Premier League player, he doesn’t need to go back on loan to the Championship.
see, the issue here is, that you are looking at footballing reasons and not for the good of the forumHe’s a Premier League player, he doesn’t need to go back on loan to the Championship.
i agree and dont get me wrong here i like the kid but on the other hand we might soon have Armstrong, Rohl, Tim and Alcarez on the bench. It seems we have a lot of midfielders.

Really, after one good game?Yep he's ahead of Tim now I think
I’ve watched a lot of Championship games this season, not just Preston, and surprise surprise it’s full of decent Championship level players, teams regularly beat teams higher than them , anybody can beat anybody etc. There aren’t as many PL standard players as you might think, that’s why promoted teams regularly come back down again, they don’t have enough PL standard players.
Armstrong has done his time in the Championship, he’s a PL standard player, he will now improve more playing with and against PL players even if it’s reduced minutes in the PL. It’s the quality of those minutes that will improve him not more Championship minutes.
A strong bench - so whats wrong with that - players who may change a game or two ? most top clubs have bigger stars on their benches.....i agree and dont get me wrong here i like the kid but on the other hand we might soon have Armstrong, Rohl, Tim and Alcarez on the bench. If only you could transfer a Joey Multi-Quote to a different clubs Forum..I know it's a long shot but any chance we can keep Armstrong and send Joey to Preston on loan?
Please....
