Change this thread title to lets Kick Joey66 - because I was correct from day one HA should have never been sent out on loan .....
If only you’d told us, I’m sure we would’ve listened.

The same person who wrote DCL out before he hit the goal trail - also amazing his training programme at Leeds - he is not injured yet our squad is decimated with injuries ? plus he is scoring .....If only you’d told us, I’m sure we would’ve listened.
Traitor .....It’s true, but my beef with the Preston loan is that he was already coming off half a season of game time where he had excelled (at Derby) and had shown, in my opinion, that he was ready. I think sometimes people look at a player’s age rather than what they’re doing on the pitch and how mature they are.He always could have, but you are watching a player with half a season of gametime.
Would Moyes have given him that is the question..
And sending out on loan is the answer..

Far to old to be sent out on loan now then -![]()
What are your thoughts on Senegal looking at Armstrongs availability for the next AFCON?

Well before he starting scoring for us another selective memory lapse by you ...I`ve never wrote DCL off Joey, please show me where I said this ?
I may have said it was time for him to move on, which his move to the mighty Leeds, has proved to be correct decision for him.
However he also did himself no favours, by playing the hokey cokey with the contract that was on offer from us, talking about Champions League clubs ( never happening ) which was all designed to get us to up his wages.

No I didn’t mean you at all Swartzy - just lots of fans! It’s a bee in my bonnet that when people get back from a loan and come into the team and do well, it’s generally accepted that it’s because of the loan. Sometimes it definitely is, but sometimes I think the player was absolutely ready to contribute already and conservative management teams have just held the player back. I remain totally convinced that Branthwaite was ready to start for us every week when he went to PSV - and anyone who disagrees needs to remember that we had Connor Cody playing instead of him that year!I don't or never did question if he had the ability, I didn't want him going at the start, but I, like many of posters watched it pay off.
All i'm saying here is, Moyes made that decision, so in Moyes eyes, he wasn't going to be getting the gametime.
What we think is irrelevant if the manager doesn't see that.
He's playing, let's just be happy with that..
He looks a better player since he had his hair cut shorter
His contract was pay as you play for a bonus on top of his existing contract- his choice ..I`ve never wrote DCL off Joey, please show me where I said this ?
