Who's better than him that suddenly comes back in. KDH is the only one in my view. He offers more than Tim, Gana and Charly i think.

Agree, he's a very well rounded player. Difficult to displace him after his performances.

Whether he goes back to Preston or not is a really difficult decision.

We have KDH, Gana, Alcaraz (not as well rounded ) & Tim to come back. That would make 6 (excluding him) if all fully fit. Maybe it is best he goes and is a star at Preston. I really don’t know the answer.

It's a really easy decision IMO. In fact, I dont think there is even a decision to make.

He is good enough to play in the premier league so why would we send him on another loan?

We shouldn’t send him back to Preston, he’s good enough to start now.

When everyone is fit, we have to start building long term combinations - Garner, Armstrong & KDH in midfield and O’Brien & Branthwaite at CB.

Grealish & Ndiaye on the wings.

In an ideal world a new set of fullbacks and striker but in the short term Patterson, Mykolenko and Barry.

Gana and Tarkowski provide experience on the bench.

Garner

Harrison KDH.

Great options off the bench and / or fitness issues with Gana , Rohl and Tim.

Afraid Charly has fallen right down the pecking order .

Perhaps a loan move to Preston might help him?

He would have, but hindsight and all - he'd also not play until now and the PNE stint served him well as far as experience goes. There's no way Moyes was gonna play him ahead of KDH in any capacity.
