I think after these couple of weeks he gets enough game time here, for the rest of the season. Has proven he is up to this standard. Did not really do an amazing amount of work on the ball last night, but seemed to generally be in a good position defensively, and when he did get the ball very rarely made a wrong/bad decision or execute anything poorly.

He would have, but hindsight and all - he'd also not play until now and the PNE stint served him well as far as experience goes. There's no way Moyes was gonna play him ahead of KDH in any capacity.

My view is he should only be here if the intention is to start him.

To be fair, that wouldn't have been the intention at the start of the season but it's up to the coaching/management staff to see that.
