…..liked how Moyes singled him out for praise in his post-match interview.

I’ve watched a lot of Championship games this season, not just Preston, and surprise surprise it’s full of decent Championship level players, teams regularly beat teams higher than them , anybody can beat anybody etc. There aren’t as many PL standard players as you might think, that’s why promoted teams regularly come back down again, they don’t have enough PL standard players.
Armstrong has done his time in the Championship, he’s a PL standard player, he will now improve more playing with and against PL players even if it’s reduced minutes in the PL. It’s the quality of those minutes that will improve him not more Championship minutes.
And Grealish. Grealish is a very clever footballer
That’s a slight understatement. It feels like an episode of Baby Reindeer in here at times. I can imagine Joey with a room plastered with pictures of Harrison Armstrong (some taken with his own camera) in the style of Alan Partridge’s biggest fan.mate no offence you’ve had a weird obsession with this moyes n armstrong business

….oddly a few PNE fans suggesting the state of their pitch could be a factor in whether Armstrong goes back or not as apparently it’s in a proper state. Have to say it was ok when I scored 4 on it![]()
Wow guys. Wow.
What a player.
But not in your world.
Who's better than him that suddenly comes back in. KDH is the only one in my view. He offers more than Tim, Gana and Charly i think.Think he’s been decent. I can see both sides of the argument but once everyone’s fit his game time will drop massively. Would be happy with him going back to present if KDH is close by end of Jan. think another half season in the championship will be great for him
If he continues to play well, it would be completely nonsensical to drop him in the first place never mind sending him down a level to play for PNE.We should do what is best for his development, whether that’s keeping him around or whether it’s sending him back to get good minutes. Playing time is crucial for him.
