If Moyes went I reckon we'd get Steve Bruce, unless a really big name European like Lippi made it apparent that he'd take the job, but I doubt that would happen without big investment.

Would people be happy for Moyes to remain here beyond his current contract if we still haven't won anything under him? As paradoxical as it sounds I think I actually would.

Me too, without a doubt. If we haven't won anything by that time, it will be down to finances rather than Moyes failing to deliver.

Coming in on Ferguson's coattails is not Moyes' style...if you want genuine respect, you build your own dynasty. He's already well on his way here and the only thing that (I think) will stop him is not cash to spend but cash for stability.

I think unless there is investment mate, we'l have another season or two untill hes poached, i certianly dont think he'l sign another contract - Glass ceiling and all that. Massive David Moyes fan so im praying for intervention.

exactly my thoughts esk, if saf has no gripe with the boss or team then he butters them up, be interesting to see how he takes defeat against us though, will he be all bitter and red nosed or complimentary and red nosed.

As I said I want to see him stay at Everton. Just as SAF has done for his lot and took them to the top where they have stayed. I want to see Moyes do that with Everton as Catterick did, as Shankly did for the other lot.
