But I am still seething about putting a weakened team out in a Derby and that probably having a psychological bearing on the FA cup derby a few weeks later and allowing that cnut to score a hatrick against us. Because he doesnät play that much anymore people seem to have forgot what a total cnut he was. He was, is and always will be a total cnut.

Delighted to finish above Liverpool. Its not as good as winning a cup would of been. But they are our local rivals, their fans are amongst the most awful people you'll ever meet and they have massively outspent us for years. So yeah, it feels good to finish above them and know that as it stands we have a better team than they do. There is nothing small time about that. If you cant enjoy a victory when you seen one, then what's the point?
We certainly didn't bottle it today did we? We demolished an in form Newcastle side when we knew we had to match Liverpool's result. Regardless of Liverpool being beat by Swansea (which we didn't know at the time), we turned out one of our best peformances of the season when the pressure was on. Yes, Wembley and the Anfield derby were disappointing, but there have been plenty of other performances this season that have warrented the price of my ticket....today definitly being one of them.

When I saw them celebrate 3rd place like they just won the treble, feeling good about 7th place doesn't seem all that bad now.
