Football should put its house in order on this issue, something doesn't sit right. We've had our knuckles rapped and no problem for me, clearly others are at it and maybe this will be yet another example of Everton serving as a catalyst for change. Think the formation of the football league, underground heating, dedicated training facilities, Goodison Park, Church in the corner and so on. Proud.

Man City got done for tapping up 2 youngsters about 18 months ago mate, and nothing changed.

We'll see if we get a year suspended like both of those did. Also they allowed City to re-sign the kid they tapped up after saying they couldn't sign him again after being ordered to release him because the RS were banned and the lad and his rat family had left our club for city's so felt they couldn't come back.
Mate if you're talking about the lad who went from Everton to city then you are totally out of order, I know the parents, more so the father than the mother, and to call them rats is despicable, you don't even know them or the reasons they wanted to leave Everton. Having spoken to the father I can tell you there is no other reasons for wanting to leave Everton other than footballing ones. They wanted what they thought was best for their son like any parent would do, you included.

They got tapped up and left a club with a fantastic academy for a money club, that's had how many youth players appear in the last decade? Don't care to know these people that were "doing their best for the kid".

I wonder is it better to tap and bung up 6 or 7 what you would imagine would be top prospects for a few years. Get caught, take a couple of seasons ban.

Or

Play by the rules and get likely a lower calibre of player and not get banned.
