Koeman would have lost there anyway!
And if anyone on this forum had managed the side last night we’d have lost as well
But we are all blues at heart and we get the club so it doesn’t really matter
I’ve a massive pain in my testicles with plucky defeats and great second half performances
I was brought up on great victories and 90 mins of blood sweat and tears with a lot of talented players and I want that back for however long I’ve got on this earth.

I don’t give a flying fiddlers if he gets us
Once he gets us success that’s all that matters
Do you think Pep gets City ( what City are and what there is to get I have no idea )

I hate all this ‘he gets us’. What is there to ‘get’? We’re no different to any supporter of any other Club. As Wenger said, . "Everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife at home", this can be applied to to every football fan of every Club in the World. We all think our Club is special but so does every other fan of every other Club. This romanticism of someone ‘getting’ us is a tad silly IMO. What is there to ‘get’? They are football manager that are supposed to get the team playing well on the pitch, not a history teacher or some sort of cheerleader. As long as he’s the right man, does it really matter if he doesn’t know that much about us, or if you can’t put red on your Xmas tree, because if he Mr Right gets the job, he will take it upon himself to find out. All we want is someone to come in and get us to compete. Does it really matter if he’s been here before and knows how the Club works, perhaps it may be better for Mr Right to come in and change the whole mentality of the Club because it needs changing. I like Unsworth but he’s linked to the past when we were in the odd relegation battle and is part of the old ‘Dogs of war’ mentality. He will make us hard to beat, no bad thing, perhaps till the end of the season, but in the long term? Not for me.

Well I mean the club can’t come out with an official announcement that says “Look at this blag sponsor, it’s crap and we know it and so do you.” The PR and marketing arms have to put a spin on everything, even when I’m sure they don’t really believe any of it.

Nobody knows if a manager as inexperienced as Unsworth would sink or swim, fact. Nobody knows if one of the foreign coaches so many are getting groinal over would be a success, fact.

Many, many fine coaches have come in from abroad and seen their reputation count for nothing, and if they fail, they are sacked with a massive compensation package and have to take their entourage with them, all of whom are also awarded compensation packages.

If Unsworth fails, move him back to the U23's and it has cost us zip? I dont see why anybody would have an issue with giving the lad a chance? It isnt that long until January, and any boss coming in will, only have the current crew to work with, so let the lad have his chance and wind your necks in for a bit eh?

It's not just that mate , we've got the fan base but we're always getting let down, koeman demanding for sigurdson when he was open to leaving swansea and then not prioritising a striker and running into swansea hands . They should have bid for sigurdson then walked away signed a striker then go back for sigurdson at the end

I know we're well supported but there's teams in leagues below who are well supported to. I deffo don't think we're big anymore we've been over taken by atleast 6 clubs now. Like I say it will only take a real board with real ambition and hard cash to change it all.

So, you have your opinion but if someone has a different opinion than you, they have to wind their necks in? I haven’t got an issue with giving him a chance, a chance till the end of the season. Look where we were 18 months ago, the optimism, rumours of top class players coming in etc, some were even mentioning Mourinho, as well as other top class managers. Now, some people are willing to take a chance on an untried, untested Manager. Quite a turnaround.

That was when we believed we had a new stadium in the pipeline and loads of cash to strengthen the squad, then we sold the 2nd best striker in the league for peanuts as soon as the window opened, and blew it on a load of crap We await Joe Anderson to update us via twitter re the stadium non progression as the club are deathly silent, the board are a busted flush

The point i am making mate is that anybody coming in is a gamble, (who would have thought the likes of Van Gaal would have flopped so badly) and anybody coming in can only work with what we have until the January window opens. In these circumstances, Unsworth is actually less of a gamble. Yet people are crucifying the club for not immediately bringing in some foreign coach? Doing so is no more or less a risk than leaving Unsworth with the job until the window opens? If he hasnt done it, then bring in some foriegn gamble, until then lets get behind him and stop bleating!
