Everton Announces Executive Leadership Restructure

So...

As I understand it (and disclaimer: admittedly, I don't understand a great deal...)

Elstone has bailed.

To try and replace him, they've pushed people around who have been involved with the club for 'yonks' and to help out the CEO replacement, they've allocated some of the CEOs responsibilities to others.

There's a lot to be said for continuity but feel as though the club is craving a revamp/fresh impetus/ideas - is it still only Ryazantsev who Moshiri has brought to the club?

Nothing has really changed, has it?

Seems to be more continuation mate. Some suggestion that it's only temporary and bigger changes will come further down the line, but we've hearing that for 2 years now.

Don't really know what any of them have been doing, will be doing, are capable of doing or are expected to be doing and not remotely arsed about this tedious corporate restructure stuff. Loving the fume and enthusiasm based entirely on guesswork, pessimism or blind optimism though.

You lot must get right into the FT and Wall Street Journal like I did my Dad's copies of Razzle when I was 13.

The only positive I can see is Ryazantsev taking over the financial side of things or at least being given a proper title for it.

So DBB is the new face of the club, Ryantsev is CFO and Harris gets to focus on the new stadium. i did not know that DBB was the COO under suntan Bob thats quite a big role in itself.

I think that could be more likely, something saying earlier that Moshiri will increase his stake in June, it'll end up Sasha in the full CEO role in my opinion, it's like he's working his way up as Moshiri gains more power

If she was then that's the first I've heard of it.

I knew she had recently been appointed to the board but as far as I was aware that was it.

I think it's worth mentioning that DBB has always been highly respected by people who work at the club, and many people within the club have always thought she would make a far better CEO than Elstone.
I don't know many things about the internal workings of our club but this I do know.

Why? Talented woman who has done a lot for EITC...is she an interim appointment or permanent? Good luck to her whichever ..
I’m tired of hearing about Everton in the community - to a certain extent the club hide its failings on the pitch behind it. We’ve won f-all for nearly 25 years! We used to be about winning football matches and trophies not care in the community awards. We are not a charity were a football club for God’s sake!

"Given the Executive Leadership restructure and the ongoing plan to fill important roles with dedicated Evertonians from those already within the club I am delighted to be taking up my new position of First Team Manager and working from the strong base that Sam has worked so hard to leave us with."

New EFC manager Sammy Lee.

Completely agree with this. We’re a football club first and foremost.

Whilst I enjoy that in a time where money is everything in the game, we give that little bit back to our city, it’s not exactly football glory, is it?

She's also been Deputy Chief Executive since 2013.

Fair play, I've had a mare here.

Denise arrived at the Club in January 2010 to develop and lead a transformation strategy for Everton in the Community. Due to the success of this venture, Denise became the Club’s Chief Operating Officer in October 2011, before being promoted to Deputy Chief Executive in June 2013. In her existing Club role, Denise has played an integral part in improving the matchday experience for supporters, in turn helping to increase attendances and enhance Everton’s reputation both nationally and abroad. She was appointed to the Club's Board of Directors in July 2016.

Up the DBBs
