A festive dividend!

Uphill Kanchelskiing

Player Valuation: £950k
Delighted when the postman gave me a letter saying "Roundhouse paid market value to EFC for the acquisition of EFCW and Board has indicated that they wish for this to distributed to all Shareholders by way of a dividend payment..."

Thought to be in the region of £20.

Good will to all blues.

(For the financial nerds, EFCW = Everton Football Club Women Ltd, also says new resolution says credit in the share account of the company will be reduced by £650m from £1.1bn to £453m)

Owners/investors milking the club dry after the takeover.

Have we learned nothing from Man Utd.

Enjoy your £20, what is that these days? Three pints?

The above actions cleanse Everton’s balance sheet of the years of mismanagement and vast accumulated losses. They also demonstrate the scale of recapitalisation required following the disastrous Moshiri years and the strain of building a new stadium with no long term financing in place.

Importantly, they also demonstrate the scale of Roundhouse’s cash commitment to the business.

Am I right in assuming that this values the women’s team including Goodison Park at c£50m?
