I wonder, when we have inoculated our entire population by the summer, to whom we should give the excess vaccines that we have ordered. I think it would be nice to help the ROI get fully inoculated and perhaps send vaccines to our friends in the commonwealth...

What on earth are you talking about?

Pretty simple, really.

Let's look back.

Even I didn't expect the EU's mask to slip quite so much.

You didn't expect a global power to advance their own interests, at a time of economic loss from Brexit and during a global pandemic?

Note those embarrassing U-turns mate?

Yeah, that.

At least they've had the good sense and maturity to admit the mistake.

Somewhat refreshing when you consider what the UK reaction to it would've been.

So yesterday, you was saying why was I surprised - 'it was just a global power advancing their own interest'.

Now they've u-turned - 'it's good sense and maturity to admit the mistake'.

It wasn't a mistake according to you - just a global power doing their thing.

Euroblind at it's very best.

As I said, sometimes instead of being so entrenched in a position - maybe, just maybe try and look an incidents on their merit instead of picking a side.

Tit head behaviour from EU, and it deserved to be condemned without whataboutery - especially when whataboutery includes death numbers.

One post was related to the contract dispute between AZ and the EU and the other was related to the Art.16 clause.

Maybe you need to check the rearview mirror a bit more clearly when looking back.

And as for the EU...
For a previously sensible and measured EU commission, currently making the Johnson Government look measured and sensible is an incredible achievement.

The UK approach should be confidence in it's own position but not triumphant at the position of the EU.

I think so far, the UK approach has been absolutely right.

Brexiters should be delighted. The wish for the EU commission to behave more like the UK Government are being delivered.

At least they realised very quickly.
They've had an absolute disaster, as my posting on the matter has indicated.
