that post is not wrong - please don’t fall into the trap of thinking this scheme is a success.
It might well turn out to be, but until millions of people have their second dose it’s completely misleading to say that we’ve vaccinated millions (the current figure is just under 500k).

It goes largely unreported that my Great British Government has restricted the export so far of 174 medicines that are proven manage people who are poorly with COVID.
The sheer stupidity of not getting everyone vaccinated at the same rate and time is breathtaking. At best if this mindset continues we will be lockdown for months longer maybe degrees of lockdown for years, at worst and very possible we contribute to vaccine resistant virus
