2025/26 David Moyes

Don't even think this is the anti-Moyes brigade, more so that people have been saying he's always been negative and will always be and apparently were wrong, whereas he's still saying "we might be relegated here lads, vital points to survive" while this is the league table at the time of him saying that:

God forbid an ounce of actual positivity is shown without first bringing down the mood for no reason. Considering the age we're in and the fact we allegedly have PRs, maybe they should've talked to him or something?

I'm not in the Moyes out camp at all but would prefer it if we stop this "it's as best as we can do" nonsense honestly. We knew his limitations when he came here and it's 100% okay to criticise things like the home form, the cup exits (as expected sadly), some baffling team selections/subs (or lack of), forfeiting at least 45 min a game for the last 3 months, keeping with the knife to a gunfight talk in the press, etc., as well as say he's done a wholly fantastic job to keep us at a better level than we were before (which was, again, expected and wholeheartedly welcomed I think, as he is a good manager).

Plus, it's always the fans who are wrong.
Remember the 2-0 at City earlier in the season and he spoke about goal difference 😂

Are you happy with the results so far? I don't see why anyone wouldn't be.

Yes, there's fair grumbles to be had but no manager we were replacing Dyche with was going to be perfect. He's doing an excellent job and most of the reasons I see posters upset with him are because of long memories and sins committed in his first spell.

I wish people would let that go and focus on the now and the very good job he's done without constantly moaning about him having a glass ceiling or knives to gunfights.

Who's arsed? We are in the top half and pushing for Europe. As long as he keeps improving our league positions any of the posters hoping he gets moved on in the summer are probably going to be very upset seeing him take preseason training.
I am happy with the results and with the improvement, it'd be nonsense to not be, but I still want to and can see how we can probably do better, but it was never gonna be quick anyway. I think he'll be here next season regardless of Europe too, it makes sense, even if it is a bit frustrating for the reasons above.

Anyone taking over Dyche was gonna have a hard time anyway, and he's done a great job so far, hope he magically improves on some of the things mentioned, but I'm not holding my breath

E: I don't care about over 10 years ago, it hurt at the time, but he did the best for/by himself and over 10 years have passed now, no idea why people are still bringing it up as much.

Everyone wants us to be better and I think his bosses will see that it is getting better and give him at least next year to see if he can maintain it or make a decision to thank him for a job well done and move onto someone else for the next step.

If we finished 12th this season and they move him on then I'm fine with it as he will have failed to improve us. If we plateau next year it's the same thing. I want us to keep matching up that league table.

No ones calling for his sack are they?
Well accept Davek maybe but he's working at a higher level of consciousness.

Forgive the multi quote

Here's a selection of this year's Sack Him Now shouts.

He better had be.

I'd sack him now for that arrogance tonight.

But it's not just him.

SACK HIM NOW

The time has come,

Sack! Sack! Sack! Sack!

Sack this absolute fraud of a manager.

Swapping Barry for Beto time and time again when neither player or forward tactics are working is inane.

And leaving Dibling on the bench against a work horse Sunderland team when we are crying out for a different spark?! If not now then why spend the sort of cash we did. Total farce.

Anyone got that flight scanner?

Hopefully the americans are coming over to sack this dinosaur

Sack him. Whilst there is still time to do something this season.

Hope so!! But why wait till then

Back him with players? He's got a solid back line and he changes it. He gets a strong run going early season and he changes it. Any time there's a sign of progress, it gets undone not by lack of players, but by Moyes own stupidity.

No wonder there's lads on the pitch with no confidence. Play well and get dropped, because one of Moyes favorite ball hoofers is fit.

Sack. Sack. Sack.

That was so bad that I actually think he needs the sack today.

Out of the cup on the weekend, very likely safe barring an insane turn of events. I'd sack him and start again with a new young hungry manager and not this dinosaur who watches games that need changes desperately and decides 'nah ill make them on 80 minutes haha'

We have one left back who is awful

No RB’s as we both know as soon as Keane is back patterson is on the bench

2 strikers with a combined total of 3 league goals

No squad depth

A dinosaur of a manager who should be sacked!!

Need i go on

GET MOYES GONE NOW

We have the joint sixth-highest paid manager in the league. If he cannot get us top 10, sack, Sack, SACK!

Sack Moyes.

Sack Michael Keane.

Looked forward to the match all week, and with this lineup I genuinely don’t even want to watch any more.

What on earth is he thinking? Just sack him now.

Sack him now…

Sack him , we love him but he is done, this style of footbal is for championship

Europe or play the young players.

Or sack.

Talking about having to win a few games we’re not expected to win in the run in

Needs to knock all that on the head, i get what he’s saying but this is close to Moshiri’s expected losses again. It’s just assuming inferiority before a ball has been kicked.
I for one am not really arsed about him setting low expectations so long as he continues to exceed them.

It isn't
It's putting out to the fanbase the reality.
He would be talking about how to win with the players

So often people seem to act like his only communication to the players is through his pressers, but it's not, that's us.
