"For the record, who is failure an option for?"

The guy who scored his hat-trick and we made him look unplayable hadn't scored since November.
Never start Keane! What lesson will Moyes learn from Brentford? Almost certainly his reaction will be to go more defensive against Wolves.
Odds on him starting Wednesday....Never start Keane!
What’s he moving upstairs to do ???I think there needs to be a bit of a reality check and this isn't really about Moyes but what's expected from this squad of players.
The net spend over the last 5 years will have been a paltry amount compared with other premier league teams. I haven't checked but I would be surprised if we aren't in the bottom three of net spenders.
Add in how the team has performed over the past 5 years compared with this season.
The only ready made plug and play signings were Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall. Both have been excellent. The likes of Dibling, Aznou, Royl, Barry etc were all signed for the club to reap the rewards beyond this season. This can be revisited in a few years to further assess those signings.
There are huge issues at both the left and right back positions. These must be addressed asap if the club is to progress.
The team's best defender (Branthwaite) has been unavailable all season and he's a game changer given his pace and ability to play a higher line.
I agree with most of the reservations about Moyes but all things being equal, 28 points from 20 league games is a good return. Not amazing but a good return.
I want the team to improve and progress as much as anyone else but it takes time.
We have no worries regarding relegation and I think we need to appreciate how much most other teams have spent on players over the past 5 years (far more than Everton) and continue to struggle and compete for a top 8 spot in the league.
I think Moyes will manage until the end of the season and then move upstairs. I'm good with that.
We have a lovely stadium and once key players like Branthwaite, Gueye, Dewsbury-Hall and Ndaiye return, results will really pick up and we might be able to push for a European spot.
My view is enjoy the ride.
which manager wouldn't miss £55m of starting talent. for the record?
Harsh on Rohl , young lad new to the league , had a few injuries, played in a few positions already , too early to judge for me101% agree. Scapegoated a young boy today and not for the 1st time.
They arent rubbish as shown in the games where Dibling has support and not hung out to dry and isolated.
Aznou not getting any mins should now be questioned based on Moyes utterly disgusting managment of Dibling.
We know he loves Merlin 'the donkey' Rohl in training. No way he should have been on for Dibling when we lacked a midfielder 2 vs 3 and Armstrong is a superior player that Moyes claimed to be watching.
David 'deflector of blame' Moyes
All his signings. Just he prefers experience as evidenced by Michel 'the oaf' Keane back today
Having seen Dibling beeing hooked twice at half time (while being left totally isolated) after being ignored for most of the season my money is on Moyes not using Aznou solely due to his age.
He's intentionally changed a winning team to accomodate Michael Keane rather than use Patterson (which would have benefitted Dibling).
It simply points to Moyes making a conscious choice to not use young players unless he has no other options.
At this point of the season we can look at even just the Forest games where Aznou could have come on at 3-0 or 2-0 up.
The kid was even ready to come on in the recent game for 5mins ish and Moyes sent him back to the dugout.
Have to say i'm 100% backing Aznou at this point.
Disgraceful management of Dibling.
Disgraceful management of Aznou.
Management of Aznou and Dibling makes no sense.
Armstrong has nothing to lose as Moyes will send him back to Preston so his "former club can get promoted".
Absolutely shambolic management when coupled with the praise and use of £20mil flop Merlin Rohl who is "world class in training".
Absolutely stupid management yesterday. Stubborn, arrogant and disgusting.
101% agree. Scapegoated a young boy today and not for the 1st time.

100% he has changed the formula from last season and its utter dross that benefits no one aside from possibly Grealish
The first three obvious things:
1: Have pace at the back so the defence can play a higher line. This means O'Brien instead of Keane at centre back.
2: Match their 3 in midfield with quality and energy. This means using Armstrong over McNeil.
3: Attack using both flanks. This means using Patterson at right back.
I'm quite confident 90% of Evertonians would know this before the game began.
The concerning thing was that (ignoring the Beto sub) Rohl was the first player to be brought on and over Armstrong.
This is already a major question mark on Moyes. He has been raving about Rohl in training.
We can see Rohl can run and is a big chap. Is that the barometer for being a good player for Moyes...
Disagree. The excitement would come from Moyes integrating Aznou, Armstrong and Dibling.
Getting the new team ready for next season. Coaching them and drilling patterns of play with little to lose as were pretty much safe.
He changed style from last to this season. Far far slower when we need quick play.
Grealish is clearly under instructions as he changed to being more direct when the game was gone. Same way Dibling has been doing on the right with slowing play and checking back.
Under instructions.
Spot on and what ive been saying for the past couple of months
The slow build up helps no one and has to go.
Its not an Everton way and will never get the crowd behind the team.
Could have had him on for McNeil (anyone) in the Forest game at LW.
Could have used him for a few mins when we were 3 up in the other forest game.
Getting him ready stood at the pitch to come on and then send him back is just poor man management of a young player.
Aznou has been doing rondos at Barca & Bayern. Dont think passing a few yards is an issue for him.
Sounds like the kid has been lied to about game time. Fed a pack of lies.
Told he needs to bulk up and then left on the bench. I doubt Moyes has even done anything with him in training.
Should be putting in a bid for Kroupi. Even the Wolves kid Mane.
With extremely limited service too.
Barry and Dibling totally isolated in these poor tactics and its become a regular theme. How to judge a centre forward against 2 or 3 grocks every game when you just punt the ball in the air in his general direction.
I can confidently say now that the Grealish slowing the play down crap ive been angry about almost all season is down to Moyes because Dibling is doing it too.
Poor management. Moyes intentionally wanting to slow the play.
Its on Moyes im sure of it now. Ive been blaming Grealish but not with Dibling doing it too.
The only players you can blame are McNeil and Keane today really who are known quantities.
Rohl ive made a judgement on too i suppose.
He'd had no preseason and was thrown in unprepared due to an injury.
Dont think anything can be judged on a single friendly game. Coleman was used as a right winger initially, no reason why Aznou hasnt been slowly eased in to a few games now.
"According to the BBC"
Jesus wept hahahaha
Look at Merlin Rohls rating!!! Hahahaha
He has to leave for his own sake now. Wasting his career under Dyche and then Moyes.
Pity he got injured those times under Lampard.
We shouldnt be using a right winger if we arent going to use right backs to support them.
Should be a new rule for Moyes that the utter nincompoop.
Patterson needs to go for his own sake.
Definitely needs to be in a 3 rather than 2 vs 3 and the same could be said for Garner.
Our midfield outnumbered due to Moyes using McNeil. Then Beto on when we needed numbers in midfield.
Looked tired.
Tarkowski yelled at him for the 1st goal.
2 vs 3 in the middle where even Garner looked poor.
He needs to be allowed to roam and go after players as a destroyer / tackle machine. Then his lack of concentration and positional sense wont hurt us.
Yes and Moyes gave it to them.
How anyone can be behind Moyes for the long term seeing how hes treating the young players and his shocking in game tactics is beyond me.
Doesnt seem bothered after losing games either. Clown.
Just imagine how Aznou feels as well after being stripped and ready to come on vs Forest?
Moyes showing huge weaknesses with young players he signed.
If Rohl starts ahead of Armstrong next game then we know the score.
Same as Aznou and we'll probably see Armstrong suffer as well.
Moyes has a lot to prove the rest of the season with these 3 kids. Fail and posters should want him gone.
See ive been annoyed with Grealish slowing the play down since his occasional quick/direct play when he joined.
Both Grealish and Dibling both slow the play, have 2 or 3 defenders on them then look for a pass.
Its all tactical from Moyes. Clear as day.
Its quite amusing really to read people slating Dibling and not having the common sense to see what O'Brien was (or wasnt) doing behind him.
Our tactics are, give it to Grealish. Thats it.
As i posted last night, even Mykolenko gets up to support Grealish. KDH has done so as well, as has Garner.
Not a single player did the same on the right.
According to Moyes Rohl can play all over the pitch and is amazing in training.
In reality its because Dibling is 19.
Jack if you're reading this, I apologise.
I thought you were to blame for holding onto the ball and slowing the play down most of the time.
Now I see that Dibling is doing the same on the right. It's become clear that its our managers tactics.
Today I saw you release the shackles and go direct when we had lost the game. I am assuming against the managers tactics or perhaps dour davey had given up by then.
In the light of this apology i would like to ask a small favour. Going forward please ignore David Moyes and play the ball direct and with pace.
Also please keep Dibling, Aznou and Armstrong away from the manager.
Love
Zat
If it wasnt Moyes id think the manager was trying to get himself sacked.
How he has put in 2 top performances at CB and then dropped from that position is very similar to Alcaraz last season.
All on Moyes this, no blame for OBrien.
Spot on.
Moyes needs to be selling McNeil now its just silly.
Thats on Moyes not TFG
Usual suspect(s) no doubt who love to praise Moyes and act as if they know it all.
They should read their own football for dummies books. Though they'd wait for Moyes to sign it first.
Hopefully being part of a multi quote hastens the process!Someone's head is going to explode... zats anti-moyes posts this morning.....
Then the odds of us losing will also be short.Odds on him starting Wednesday....
Hopefully being part of a multi quote hastens the process!
Probably to get us close to 40 points nothing more, those talking about the possibility of Europe got a wake up call yesterday. He sh@t the bed yesterday. We can all see what he got wrong. It's right to criticise him when wrong as much as it's right to praise him when it goes right.
We and he will bounce back
