Just knew he'd put him straight back in and he'd be dreadful
Usual suspect(s) no doubt who love to praise Moyes and act as if they know it all.
They should read their own football for dummies books. Though they'd wait for Moyes to sign it first.
Then you obviously have not been watching our matches...we concede three or more he starts.Your an absolute rotter maccavennie.
Michael Vincent Keane has been the bedrock upon which our defence has been built this season.
Has done a spiffing job over all , just not tip top last game, against Brentford, the rascals.
I had just parked up yesterday at 1.45pm and although I expected it (was hoping before Keane was not "fit enough" to make it and Moyes might keep the same XI) my heart just sank as soon as I unlocked my phone and saw him back in the teamThink it was you a few days ago when Moyes was asked who was fit/who wasn't and he said "Keane might make it" and you said "i guarantee out of anyone being available from Alcaraz or KDH or Keane, it'll be Keane"
Just knew he'd put him straight back in and he'd be dreadful
the delusionI’m not a Keane fan but I recognise he’s been terrific
Come on now, if Patto started yesterday and also against Spurs and Newcastle we would be 9 points better off.
He is the second coming in some people's eyes.
…..it’s a shame so many are piling into Keane because he’s been very decent over the season. 28 points, coping without Branthwaite is much down to him and many suggesting he’s been our best CB.
Yes, I do think both CBs were exposed yesterday, they were bright & pacy on the break and our central defenders found themselves the wrong side too often. Tarkowski also part responsible for the first goal knocking it into Iroegbunam who couldn’t look after the ball. I could fully understand the decision, however, to revert O’Brien to RB.
Patterson was very exposed at Forest, I believe we got away with him in there so when Keane declared himself fit, the decision to bring him back in was clear. O’Brien > Patterson. It might be a case of Tarkowski/O’Brien being better than Tarkowski/Keane but less obviously and the back four that started last night is largely settled and done ok.
I just think Brentford cruelly exposed our weakness whilst others haven’t and that mainly came from overrunning our midfield. That’s where I blame Moyes as it was apparent after we went 1down and he should’ve matched them up. He had the personnel to go with 3 CBs but tried something different in the 2nd half.
Food for thought for Moyes, I’m not a Keane fan but I recognise he’s been terrific in the main this season.
