Just seen a news report from Italy. Generally, although the numbers dying is going through the roof and their NHS is on it’s knees, supermarkets are reporting that panic buying is almost non-existent. In Lidl this afternoon, a bloke at the head of my queue was arguing with the cashier when she told him he couldn’t have more than one bottle of olive oil. Wtf is wrong with people in this country?

There is a silver lining though, as it looks like their exams will be being awarded on their " expected " grades.

So, if they`ve been pulling their tripe out, they`ll be okay.
I'd have got nothing if it happened to me.

I knew I could revise and pass exams when it mattered, and no one really tries that hard for 'mocks' do they ?

A few kids will be in bits tonight.
Lucky my lad doesent seem to give a toss about anything.

We’ve really let ourselves down , I’d say we seem to have reacted worse than anywhere else .

The cashier would refuse that sale.

We've been doing refusing the last few days.
I've read the press release for tomorrow that says EVERY item will be restricted to 3 per customer going forward.
I do the weekly shop every Thursday
Last week was pandemonium
No trolleys ,1 hr waits at checkouts etc
Today all back to normal if not quieter than normal
Social distancing rules in place and the floor taped etc
Trollies wiped down when you leave them back
Cashless payments preferred etc
No shortage of stock and no panic buying

Glad to see the Royal Family are ready to stand with us and play their part.
Nice footage too of the Queen leaving Buckingham Palace to go to one of her castles with a moat.

She stayed at the Palace when the blitz was on, she’s 93 and her husband is 98. What do you want her to do, help out in the hospitals or the checkout......
