I think I’ve got COVID at the moment. Having absolutely awful abdominal pain but fever has gone away, this has hit me like a ton of bricks.
Wasn't funny, but
.. is what's caused the grief.
Some people are knobs, some are sound, some are a bit of both.
Indeed, it’s almost as if they learned absolutely nothing from the mistakes they made in March, when their reluctance to do what was needed ended up costing 10’s of thousands of lives and made the eventual lockdown much longer than it could have been had they acted earlier. If this government perform yet another u turn and instruct another national lock (which I think is needed) then it just goes to show just how inept and totally useless they are.
The experts were calling for a 2 week lockdown in September. Thanks to this Tory shambles we are now facing 4 weeks plus!

The time that lockdown bought us should have resulted in a highly effective test, track and isolate programme being available the minute we came out of it. But oh no, this lot left it to Dom and their donors & cronies who failed to deliver and somehow chomped through £12BN in the process.
Oh and then let’s encourage people to eat out to help start a second wave & get lashed for Britain. It’s off the scale incompetence, but this is what you get when you install a lazy oaf like Johnson as PM.
Because the government know SAGE are utterly incompetent, but they themselves are utterly incompetent so we have idiots pumping out crap ideas which are dismissed by the government who apparently are now using a fruit machine to generate policy. Are the schools staying open during this new lockdown? If so what's the point as the virus will carry on spreading in schools hospitals and care homes.

SAGE have done nothing throughout this crisis but add to the sense of panic and create long lasting issues. All of them trying to cover up and blame other for their failings. The bastards should be hung from the lampposts.SAGE have been advising a national lockdown for several weeks now, which when you look across Europe is kind what we should have done, as every country has seen an enormous second spike during autumn. Yet again, we're taking the grace period we enjoy from being a few weeks behind the curves seen in mainland Europe and wasting it completely.
I’m convinced now that their running of it is 50% face saving exercises.Literally two weeks ago they was poking fun at Labour for wanting a lockdown.
Are we living in some 1980’s dystopian novel?
