I think the answer lies between in person and remote learning. Classes check in with teacher at staggered/rotad times throughout the week to review online learning which is accessed for the rest of the week. With my safeguarding hat on, this means that we can physically see that the kids are safe as well.They are but they are definitely a driving force of infection rates. I don't care what the government say on the matter.
So to keep schools open then everyone must accept harsher restrictions in other parts of daily life. Or you switch to remote tutoring and you can then open the other side.
