Even with the majority of the media being a part of the 'Johnson is a great whacky funster' industry hes defo caught an increased amount of flack since his huffing and puffing on tv last night. Methinks the tide is beginning to turn against the obese buffoon.

Apparently they sent Raab out on radio and he just fell on his arse.

Expect the Fuehrer Bunker to be slammed shut for a few more days, especially if the death rate continues.

The death rate hasn't really come down all that nuch for the last two months when hospitals, care homes, nursing homes, care in the community and the community at large is taken in the whole. Johnson wanted to 'squash the sombrero' so it's like an inverted V ^ but in fact it's like Table Top mountain.

That's not true. There's never been a full scale lockdown encouraged. There have been hundreds of thousands not observing lockdown. The lockdown should have been enforced as elsewhere. Coppers and troops on the streets if need be as in France, Spain and Italy.

You were actively encouraging people break the lockdown Dave. You're in a bloody great glass house.

That has been dolphins, a seel and what looked like a platypus in the River Mersey over the past few weeks. Lots more wild flowers around too!

From my house to Ambleside, you can do it in less than two hours. Snowdonia is an hour and a bit, with Moel Famu easily reachable within an hour.

They're not particularly long-distances if you have a car or motorbike, so they're easily reachable; whatever Boris says, I still see it as pretty darn needless.

Nevertheless, I do agree that the real problem is people meeting up and socialising, which is happening more and more often - it has been for the past two weeks.

However, if you combine the two together then the added risk of the r0 rate reaching and going above the infamous 1 is increasing a lot.
I live in Cornwall mate which has the lowest death and infection rates in the country. Partly because we are sparsely populated but mainly because, from what I personally have witnessed, we have taken socially distancing very seriously. The last thing I want is outsiders coming in infecting us.

My hope is that we are bordered by Devon Somerset and Dorset, all beautiful counties with coastline who residents don't have to travel here. To come here from outside would involve 3 hours or more travel.

Take what you say about North Wales though

Look everyone, Boris is spot on with his 'stay alert' poster, I went in the garden this morning to put something in the bin and Coronavirus tried to sneak up behind me, luckily our dogs clocked it and barked so it did a runner. I might not be so lucky next time.
You may be on to something there. Dogs have the ability to sense and smell a lot of things. Why not coronavirus.

My brother concurs.

He lives near Mevagissy, and a few of the villagers meet most nights for beers and that around the war memorial. All very distanced, and keep each other sane.
