Its coming out now that shipment from Turkey was from a Company formed at the end of January who until very recently were manufacturing T shirts and Track Suits.
I have been in buying and selling for most of my working life(just retired) and wouldn't dream of placing an order with a Company only formed 3 months ago, what sort of idiots are running this country? It is truly scary.

There again there is a drug factory in Dublin that manufactured the contraceptive pill
Certain workers found that they started developing breasts,male workers at that lol

They talk about slowly opening things up and keeping social distancing in place, in the last week I've seen organised queues outside the banks descend into pretty much a free for all and barely a metre between people and a couple of people having an argument with security at Iceland cos they dared to shut at 5pm to allow NHS staff in. We've got a long long way to go whilst people continue to be selfish tosspots.

Meant to post this earlier, but forgot. My parents had a food parcel delivered to them this morning, no warning, just a knock on the door, and a big box left. We reckon its a council led idea, but it seemed a bit random after 6 weeks or so!

Anyrate, they dont need the food. Most of the items were tinned/long life, obvs, but they kept the fruit and veg, and I just took the rest to the Sainsburys food bank with some stuff me and Mrs R didnt really need as well.

Our local supermarket is doing a collection point for hygiene products,soap ,shampoo ,shower gel deodorant etc for hospitals.
Seemingly with no visitors allowed patients are running out of this stuff
Just buy a bit extra and drop it in the trolley
Its the little things like this that you don't realise affects people
