Yes, of course we should expert to have full understanding of a never before seen disease within a few months.
Wouldnt it be best to do the studies and come out with accurate information? Theyve mentioned multiple drugs some say it worked then a week later it causes further symptoms and signs. They said outside is bad now outside is good. The stay at home order is working but oh now its causing cases at home for even people not leaving the house. I think "experts" are just blowing smoke for false hope/false light at the end of the tunnel.

Sorry to say but we have seen this before.

Sars 17 years ago.

Same sort of symptoms , from the same sort of source

May be a different strain but we have had this pandemic happen in recent times. More telling that lessons were not learned and it was allowed to be a worldwide pandemic this time

Its perplexed me for weeks that.

Care homes I get. If it gets in, from a resident, care worker, delivery bloke, it will spread.

Social distancing is now part of life, so unless it doesnt work, its not from that.

Non Covid hospital admissions, or patients already there are obviously at higher risk to get it in hospital, so thats a few. Maybe more than a few, who knows?

All I can come up with is there must be pockets of very localised infections where it takes a hold and takes the piss. Care homes esq if you like.

Like my own situation is I am caring for Mrs R, (high risk if she gets it), and watching out for my parents, mid 80s. Again, high risk if they get it. All 3 will only get it from me, so I have been very diligent and done what we have been told to do.

And they, all vulnerable, havnt got it. Its just plain weird that so many still are.
Lot of lids not observing the lockdown and social distancing
My son told me he seen 15-20 teenagers playing football in a park just outside London

Everyone, pretty much, use the sprays. Everyone observes the 2 metre rule and one way system in Tescos, (dont have one at Sainsburys), even the butcher in the high street has put tape on the pavement for queuing, and has screens in the shop. Only 1 person in the shop at any time.

Its utterly normal to us.

That said, I am pretty confident that deaths from cycling accidents will spike pretty soon. Its like France.
I hope that was not a veiled threat to @Bruce Wayne and @arminisgod lol

Im getting a bit angry about it all RayRay, the amount of times ive had to take deep breaths and bite my tongue cos somebody totally ignores the line spacing in the asda. The last few weeks ive had to send the missus shopping cos somebody at some point is defo getting beaten to death with a bottle of Pepsi if I keep going.
Diet Pepsi I assume lol

Science is often messy, full of contradictions/inconclusive results and always has been. Open sharing of data means that theories are created, tested against data, peer reviewed and either discounted or refined - progress is usually steady but it is rarely a straight line.

Has nothing to do with blowing smoke - just genuine search for what is happening in a confusing situation with many moving parts.

The concept of learning as information and data evolve seems lost on you.

My office overlooks the high street and more and more people are about every day, to the point that you'd struggle to believe there were any restrictions in the last few days. I drove past a park on the way home yesterday and the car park was rammed and there were a group of blokes having a kick around, loads walking their dogs and kids playing in the park.

I've seen community support officers approach groups of people in town and have a laugh and a joke and then just leave them sat there enjoying the sun rather than move them on. I appreciate it's a fine balance but there's plenty of people clearly taking the piss still, they'll probably be the same people whining about a lockdown extension without an ounce of self awareness.

The problem I can see , and have heard of is the protective clothing used in general circumstances not front line is the exposure of bare skin on the arms - any virus or chemical can be absorbed via bare skin as you skin is porous it breathes a face mask and a mouth mask is fine, but the apron leaves the nurses or Doctors arms bare skin exposed.....
they can transmit iot from patient to patient - one nurse had her Covid 19 test with no symptoms just felt tied down to shift work her result came back positive.......told to isolate 14 days no symptoms .....
Took 3 attempts but I got there eventually lol

History is littered with cures and all sorts being discovered by accident. Wasnt there an HIV patient in Merica who also had a long standing condition for sommet, and whatever he was taking for that, the medics discovered it slowed down or controlled his HIV?
