People being people and greed being greed any western government will find it hard to enforce restrictions on numbers
Try telling a pub in any major city centre only 25/50/75/100 people allowed in Sat night
Its just not workable
I know things will have to get back to normal ,but I think it will be a new normal that we will have to acclimatise to for the foreseeable future

Don't they already have bouncers on a number of pubs (normally the rough ones mind)? Just give them a clicker and tell them to enforce it

So basically - an easing of the lockdown involves people risking their lives to do the things they don't really like doing - whilst still not being able to do the things they enjoy doing

Good luck selling that to the masses
If you are talking about work ,then as someone who has been in work everyday since this started I would hate to be at home everyday
My missus is itching to get back after a month out and knows it will be Sept before she gets back
people will just have to accept a new normal for doing the things they like

My worry is that the lockdown is basically just a way of buying time so that we have everything in place to deal with the situation but we are no further forward than we were 3 weeks ago.
Make no mistake if the government was told that we could come out of this thing with 25000 deaths and it would all go away they would snatch your hands.
People have been telling us for years that the NHS is on its knees (many of us have seen it at first hand) but the government has chosen to ignore it, the chickens are coming home to roost.
If we come through this and I mean if not when I think that we should all be prepared to pay 5% of our earnings into the NHS because if there is one thing this has shown us that the most important thing we have is our health.
Be grand for 3 months and then people will get browned off with the extra tax because it will not be going as extra income to the NHS

My missus reckons she spends a minimum of
Blow drys 100 euro a month
Colour 70 euro a month
Hair cut 85 euro (every 5 weeks )
Nails 55 euro
Facial (no giggles please ) 65 euro
Massage 60 euro
And she complains I go for 5- 6 pints on a weds night on my own
She will be worth a fortune by the time this lockdown is over lol
Our post office book has not looked this healthy in a long time

Here`s @Joey66 missus list of expenditure when this is all over :

New boiler suit : £15
New work boots : £30
New welding mask: £40
New work gloves : £10
New mig welder: £500
New sweeps brush £100

Good job Dyson parts are in demand for ventilators.

In happy to change my opinion as the facts change. Morgan has asked decent questions around PPE and today on care homes. Doesn’t get him off the hook for being a prize bellend for years
Most elderly care is owned by big multinational companies. Question to the minister and country as whole, why has profit been allowed to become more important than our grandma's and grandpa's wellbeing...
