If you saw the daily press conference today almost all the questions were on this subject.

They said 13.5% of care homes across the country are now CV-19 positive. They didn't say how many deaths there had been but that this information can be easily found within the NHS website. Apparently the doctors who prepare the death certificates for those that die at home or in care homes are instructed to put CV-19 as cause of death if the person had been showing symptoms. So the likelihood is that CV-!) will be replacing old age on the death certificates of those hat die in homes.

A few weeks ago they said that the number if people dying of CV-19 in the community was around 78 from memory. I would imagine that this would now be upto several hundred and probably over a 1000.
Genuine question
Is old age actually put on a death cert as a cause of death ?

They're not all bad though. I also heard that the two nurses who mopped his brow were treated with free tickets back to bunga bunga land, or wherever they come from. Hearts of gold. Priti Patel even waved her mask as she saw them off on the plane.
He actually thanked two nurses from Portugal and New Zealand
I would say Farage had a seizure

Inexperience showing, probably too nice for the job shes in
Piers is walking all over her
Too much Birkdale not enough Kirkdale.
In footballing terms she needs to be sent out on loan to get used to playing proper first team football, not U23s
If she was a player she'd be Rodwell or Dowell
Seeing these ministers get interviewed just reminds me of 'the thick of it' way way too much.

'The cameramen are laughing'

My missus reckons she spends a minimum of
Blow drys 100 euro a month
Colour 70 euro a month
Hair cut 85 euro (every 5 weeks )
Nails 55 euro
Facial (no giggles please ) 65 euro
Massage 60 euro
And she complains I go for 5- 6 pints on a weds night on my own
She will be worth a fortune by the time this lockdown is over lol
Our post office book has not looked this healthy in a long time
I thought my missus was bad. You have my sympathy Sir

It's Greek Easter this weekend and the Police are going door to door from Friday checking that only the residents of the property are in the property. 150 euro fine per person for breaching the restrictions.
One day the UK will enact the 1929 law they passed to standardize Easter, but as somebody said...

That would be an ecumenical matter

It really is if you look at part I highlighted
A 150 cover restaurant cant make money if it's only a third full on a FRI/ SAT night
A large 300 seater pub will not make money on 50 people on a sat night and the Government will not be able to enforce restictions on numbers

Problem is whatever arbitary number I pluck out as an example you're going to times it by 2. That's not really very helpful.

Lockdown measures need to be applied step by step. You don't allow 50,000 matchday fans back to watching live matches straight off the bat. You allow individual small gatherings and then gradually increase it from there.

People being people and greed being greed any western government will find it hard to enforce restrictions on numbers
Try telling a pub in any major city centre only 25/50/75/100 people allowed in Sat night
Its just not workable
I know things will have to get back to normal ,but I think it will be a new normal that we will have to acclimatise to for the foreseeable future
