Just been speaking to a guy in Georgia US tonight, and he was saying all of the restaurants are open but only for drive thru and that there is only a curfew at night. You can do what you want during the day as long as you don't congregate in large groups, but breaking the curfew brings a ticket of around $400. He didn't believe me when I told him we were locked down 24/7.

Quite a lot of shops are also open for business during the day as well apparently, not sure if this is a State or a Federal thing though.
Yeah most stores are still open where I am as well but most only doing pickup or delivery. Grocery stores are obviously open but most seem to be limiting the number of people in at time, spraying shopping carts, etc. Luckily I've been able to work from home the last two and a half weeks. I have my mother at home who is in her early sixties and has some chronic respiratory issues so shes high risk. Been getting our groceries delivered and disinfecting them when they arrive to limit her exposure. Havent left my house except to take the trash out since march 26th (my last day in the office)

China reports no cases, opens up the airports again and hey presto starts reporting cases again.

I’d say tourist flights > zero.

We’ve got a holiday booked in Spain in the Summer and I’ve already started looking at a plan B in the UK.

Czech government announced its '5 step plan' for re-opening yesterday. You can imagine people going crazy with any new freedom they're granted, and it spreading like wildfire again. I suspect being realistic with people is the best approach, but they're not framing this as in "we're giving you and the economy a breather, but this isn't over...", but you get the distinct impression they think this'll all be over by summer. When it comes back in a second wave, that'll really damage the trust people have, and the willingness to go through isolation again.

Let’s scare people a bit more eh?!
The authors do state those are only models setting out a number of scenarios. Personally I think it’s extremely unhelpful for the media to publish these articles at a time of national anxiety.
Rules of Life #1: Never Google symptoms.
Yup! When I had my first stress induced panic attack I googled the symptoms and thought I was a goner! Until I phoned the doctor and he told me to sit down and have a glass of cold water!
