The scenes on these wards just sound horrific.
3 or 4 deaths a shift !
FFS it must be like a war zone.

Yeah there’s that bit of hope that we’ve had high figures the past few days based on ‘catch up’ numbers that the spike might not as be as bad this week as they’ve already been accounted for, but I wouldn’t be surprised by a four figure number early in the week.I think it's more than likely because it's the weekend, we've seen the a same thing every week for it to then jump up on Monday, with it being bank holiday then expect Tuesday's or Wednesdays figures to be high again unfortunately
Obviously theyre already high but you know what I mean
I recall a virologist on BBC radio saying that if the virus mutates it is likely to become less lethal as a survival mechanism or something.
Can't see what the point is of a contact tracing app that gives you an anonymous alert, tbh.
Imagine you work in a big civil service office, emergency services call-centre, hospital or factory producing food and you get an alert saying that someone you met on a day you were at work has Coronavirus symptoms; then imagine everyone else at work getting the same alert.
FWIW I think there's plenty that's not right (other than 1000s dying) about this situation and how it has been handled mate.Dunno mate. Just always makes me suspicious. Just how my mind works. No real reasoning

Would you be able to provide two or three examples please?I think the world is going to change in many ways as a result of this virus....

The whole world was prepared for a flu pandemic, nobody was prepared for Cov-19 tho, mainly due to it not being anything remotely like the Flu.
