Meant to be taking the kids to Florida on August 21st been booked for 18 months.
Hardly a major issue given everything else going on and how people have been impacted but what do people think the chances are this could still go ahead?
You read different articles and I don’t know what to believe

Fingers crossed mate. Just gotta take it day by day and hopefully on a few weeks time we start to get some positive news

We really thinking this will be done and dusted in one wave and without a vaccine? I'd be amazed if international travel for anything but emergencies happens this year.

I don't think it'll be done and dusted but I do think we will be out of a lockdown in May with social distancing still a priority for a few months especially in shops, I doubt pubs or even restaurants will open till later in the year, sports events and concerts won't happen again this year, but certain things like aviation will be running because of the economy, we still have international flights now just reduced, wether Disneyland is open is a different matter

A loved one does. A Google search says it can be a symptom.
John Hopkins currently says the following
The most common symptoms in humans include:
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Shortness of breath
  • Muscle aches
  • Sore throat
  • Unexplained loss of taste or smell
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
Some patients have reported additional coronavirus disease symptoms:
Fatigue

Note that some of these symptoms are very common and can occur in many conditions other than COVID-19 (coronavirus disease).

Rash is not noted to be a coronavirus symptom. More understanding of COVID-19 may reveal additional signs or symptoms.

Can't see that being the case, there will be commercial flights. You might need to prove it is for employment reasons not tourism but no chance the skies are being shut down for that length of time for everything except emergencies. We aren't even at that level of restriction now

I am self isolating for as long as needed due to heart conditions.

Wife has had no sense of smell now for three weeks. No other symptoms.

If it is Covid-19 would she still be infectious after three weeks? My son had a temperature for around a day or so when teething about 5 days prior to wife losing sense of smell.

I may add as a family we have self isolated for 26 days, not even going to the shop.

China reports no cases, opens up the airports again and hey presto starts reporting cases again.

I’d say tourist flights > zero.

We’ve got a holiday booked in Spain in the Summer and I’ve already started looking at a plan B in the UK.

The correct advice would be to seek professional advice mate.
