We could of lost...0 points.No. I’d rather be started with Holgate at Wolves instead of Jagielka.
Digne was fit enough for the bench yesterday, therefore, I would have started him in place of Baines.
It couldn’t have gone any worse, could it? Both of them hasbeens played huge roles in us throwing 4 points away.
There will be 13 teams thinking the same thing.I’m not saying it’s not better than last year, that was a complete aberration. This feels like Moyes and Martinez all over again though. When Everton have an opportunity to do something good we seem to find amazingly different ways to ensure it doesn’t happen.
A lot of the bottom 13 teams are just poor. When the top 6 play well they usually win (even when they don’t play well they usually win). We’re in this bizarre position that maybe only Spurs have been in too where we have been good enough to do stuff but seem to be held back by this really annoying propensity to shoot our selves in the foot. If we finish outside the top 6 this season we’ll look at the points gap and I bet we’ll easily be able to say that we could have bridges it if it hadn’t of been for a few key games that we Evertoned up. That’s why is just rather be outclassed sometimes. Like let season, at least every man and his dog knew we just weren’t good enough. It sucks but you can move past it. Knowing we’re stopping ourselves from getting what we want is far far more annoying.
"We are crawling on our knees...towards our doom!!" lollolMy eyes, my eyes are pies...
And yours are full of lies!!!!
so Black Everyday? The frustrating thing is we seem to pick up an injury / suspension every single game.
We are really going to be threadbare if this trend continues.

...and for that reason the talk from Brands of more culling to come in future windows looks like folly.
If we had just the PL to focus on then yeah. However, we can kiss goodbye to extended cup runs on top of that....and WTF Brands would do in the event we qualified for the EL next season I dont know. Culling then with a minimum of about 55 games to be played would be ridiculous.

But if we cull at a greater rate than buying we'll be up against it with four competitions. Basically there would be an informal jettisoning of at least one of the cups.We have 2 transfer windows before we play a EL tie mate. At least.
