Black Saturday

I don't see it as a black Saturday. Keane's will be a head injury but he will be back. He is looking a better player each week. I suspect he will be back before he would have returned with a muscle injury.

We played really well but still show some naivety in games. We need to learn to shut games down better, or get the 3rd goal. That being said it's a very harsh penalty (for me no different from the Tosun one) and another set piece. We do give other chances way, but to concede from 2 set pieces shows in all around play we are getting better.

It's all iff's buts and maybe's of course, but if the free kick is taken from the right spot on the opening day, or we avoid a dubious red card we win. If Richarlinson doesn't act in a petulant way we win yesterday. We should have 9 from 3 and how differently we would be looking at things had we have done.

Black Saturday. What an absolute clown. 6 months of the fat gravy chugger and we get this orange cat faced buffoon declaring a black day 3 games into a new season, with a new coach, DOF, etc etc.
You've outdone yourself this time David. Well done.

coming from the Grumpy Cat this is quite something lol

I’m hoping that today is the realisation to silva that some of our team is not up to the standard he demands. Baines although a great player is now in serious decline and if the truth be told has been for some time. Tom Davies hasn’t kicked on like he should have, but at least has time on his side. 3 games in 2 goals scored in each game but only 1 win. The defensive side of our side needs urgent attention.
That’s why Marcel got Digne Mina and Zouma in
You hardly think Digne and Mina swapped Barca’s bench for Everton’s
Once they are settled and up to speed then Digne and Mina will be in and possibly Zouma if Keane doesn’t step up
They should both get game time weds night

A bit of an over reaction and designed to provoke a response, which it has as usual. Too early to make judgements on the manager and the team, we have a number of new faces who will take time to gel and some key players missing, calm down, take a deep breathe and tell yourself you won't fall for Dave's antics ever again.

Look on the bright side Dave
Rico out gives Bernard a chance to show his stuff on the left
Keane won’t be playing either way on weds so Zouma /Mina gets their chance.
A new manager and 4 new players to work their way into the side
2 away draws against two decent sides (Wolves held City to a draw yesterday ) and a decent Bournemouth side.
Manager ( or Baines ) can’t be held responsible for the sending off or the injury
It’s early and the new manager and players need time to bed in.
Glad to see Silva was realistic about the performance and didn’t try and defend Rico
Other lads would have called the performance phenomenal

Yes, the dropped points are disappointing but after three games it’s better that we are reflecting on that rather the situation last season where with the same team bar one and with sendings-off thrown in, we offered absolutely nothing in an attacking sense away from home. It’s still not good enough but you can’t deny it’s progress.
