Where on earth do you begin with that?

Needless sending off, two goal lead blown by hopeless defending, and one of our players seriously injured.

I cant think of too many more deflating days in the recent past as this one today. Gutting on every single level.

*Delete if necessary mods. I'm just thinking there might be a need for a generic thread that's devoted to this game outside of the football dimension.

... We draw away and you can't think of too many more deflating days in the recent past??? Have you had your eyes closed the past four years Dave?

We need to start with an upgrade in quality. Would a top 6 team have the likes of Davies, DCL, Keane, Jags etc starting and being involved in games? No, so we shouldn’t then.

Sadly Dave, I do, many many days like this.

A couple of years ago when we are cruising down at Bournemouth, they came back but Barkley put us ahead in injury time only for Junior Stanislas to equalise 8 minutes into injury time.

Funes More scoring late on against Chelsea, only for John Terry to score an offside equaliser late on.

West Ham, 2-0 up in Martinez's last season at Goodison. Miss a penalty and lose 3-2. Winning against Stoke City, lose it late on.

1-0 up against the worst Liverpool side of my life time at Wembley only for Distin to pass it to Suarez, we go on to lose.

I'm so used to it, happens so many times, its to be expected.

Its a mentally thing. Absolute bottlers, especially the old guard (Baines, Jags etc). They just continually shoot themselves in the foot.

If Bournemouth score 2 screamers, fair enough it happens. But Baines is one of the most experienced players and there is absolutely no need to give the foul away for the penalty. He has one of the best goalkeepers in the league behind him and he rashly makes a foul that I wouldn't expect a 17 year old to make. Same with stupid Jagielka against Wolves.

We have seen it so, so so many times.

If you want happiness in life, to enjoy your weekend. Don't rely on Everton for it, because they will just let you down.

Its a mentality thing, as a club we are good comedy value, give the top 6 some good laughs but generally, absolute bottlers. Pure Everton.
We shouldn't just shrug and accept that as fate though mate. It isn't destined to happen that way.

Heads all over the defence should roll and we need to see a whole new unit taking to the pitch in a very short period of time. Baines, Jagielka, Keane and even Coleman if he doesn't improve defensively need to be replaced.

Dave today is like watching old Martinez game at Everton though. Gonna to cry. Bloody hell can’t defending a 2-0 lead is criminal.

Usually I'd be upset but through three games, we look a better team than we have for 18 months.

I'll cling to the positives as we head into a run of three games where we can win all three.
There's spiriit there, but we cant keep on relying on coming back like this after a shot through our own feet.

And the defence is an ongoing crisis for us. We need to get upset and stay upset.

If you could pick players who would let you down this season, I would have said Baines and Jagielka, and here we are, within the space of three games they have cost us 4 points. Worst still, they’ve done the stupid mistakes whilst wearing the captain’s armband!

They’re a disgrace to the shirt, clinging onto wages that they no longer deserve.

Both of them ringleaders in bringing Moyes’ attitude that mediocrity is good enough for Everton into every new era since he left.

Do the decent thing, the pair of you, and GET OUT.

Stop making this about Martinez FFS. It has zero to do with him.

Just focus on the issues.

'kin wept.

just wanted to get a reaction out of you David ;)

Yes, it's a disappointing result.

But it's also a draw away from home when the referee was insistent on making this game all about him, and B'mouth were utter tossers. It's also the third game of the season.

Lots of improvements to be made, but there's plenty of positives from the opening three games as well.

Think positive mate. In the next 6 week's it'll be completely different once zouma, mina and Digne are all available and properly fit.
