People will say it was an unfair scoreline, and I can see where they are coming from....but if you defend so naively, against good players you will get cut open.

Don't think we deserve to lose by 3 goals. Like when we played Chelsea and Spurs away. We just could not get the goals with so many chances created.

It really isnt.

Not for where we want to be. Watch the game again and see how much one touch passing we could be doing and moments to pass accurately to create a chance....one twos around the box.

Our players will do this well maybe 50% of the time...the teams above will do it more consistently over the course of a season. Best we can hope for is a good run of form...like Southampton had.

The quality of Ozil/Cazorla will show over Kev/Pienaar over a season and in most games.

We are doing the right things its just early days in a big change at the club.
We have the players we just don,t create.
We never load the box and hardly test the keepers unless its a shot from distance.
Its ok having the ball but we don,t seem to know what to do with it.

Think Arsenal were better from say the 5th to 30th and from the pen to the end I say,They had more chances and actually shot, when we had chances to shoot we didn't,the pen changed the 2nd half as I think we were the better team,3rd and 4th we might as well have no defenders in the box the way they just left them

It's going to be the same for at least a few more seasons, we simply don't have the money to buy the players we need over 1 summer to make this system work for us. I'd like to see a plan b sometimes but I just think Martinez believes in the system so much that he refuses to change it - which is fair enough, but it also causes us to limp to defeats. You can see the style is good but it's also clearly obvious that our play in the final third is slow and predictable that we rarely create and threaten the other teams goal.

Pienaar can be great at times but he need replacing in my opinion as he is far too slow on the ball. Mirallas has been awful as well for the majority of the season

Mirallas and Pienaar were very poor today. Disappointed but not dejected as in my heart of hearts I was prepared for this loss.
Correct Pienaar was poor the problem is we are no better when he doesn't play,it's a strange situation he plays poor ,but when he doesn't play we need him.

Deulofeu is a joke. Like a 12 year old in the playground. I dont see any need for us to develop other teams youngsters. Our own are enough of a liability.

Barkley's miss condemed us there!

But his run and cross put us back in it, swings and roundabouts.

Simple fact is that the board condemned us over many years before a ball was kicked. The gulf in cohesive attacking quality was there to see for everyone today, and it's because of chronic underinvestment.

Getting to the point where I'm getting less bothered about football each week. Not much to look forward to if you're not a fan of a big spender is there. Ah well
