Know what's annoyed me the most?

We lost to Wigan by conceding three goals in 10 minutes. All three goals were from counter attacks as they had parked the bus and looked to hit us on the break.

Even under Moyes, we always seemed to be the worst team in the league at defending counter attacks. Why is this still the case?

Given that we have the bulk of possession now, if teams are going to score on us its going to be on the counter. Besides Liverpool and to some extent this match our D in open play has been good. Its the D on the free kicks that have killed us and the fact we aren't finishing well.

Was always going to be hard but we've just gifted that to them. Their first 3 goals were all preventable and we didn't take our chances.

Pienaar and Osman should be subs now, Stones should start more games so he can ready for next season. Mirallas needs to played on the left now instead of pienaar. McGeady in place of Osman. Plus a new striker next season.

Our quality is good enough in the final third its we don,t know how to attack teams and create chances.
We have a lot of the ball playing it around slowly and backwards and teams let us.

It really isnt.

Not for where we want to be. Watch the game again and see how much one touch passing we could be doing and moments to pass accurately to create a chance....one twos around the box.

Our players will do this well maybe 50% of the time...the teams above will do it more consistently over the course of a season. Best we can hope for is a good run of form...like Southampton had.

The quality of Ozil/Cazorla will show over Kev/Pienaar over a season and in most games.

We are doing the right things its just early days in a big change at the club.
