Well most others were saying it was a done deal and couldn't be done as the primaries had been won. Am I getting criticised for getting it right.

There was only two ways Harris didn't become the nominee.
1. Biden doesnt step down. That ship has sailed and it was the right choice.
2. There was a contested convention with some weird rushed primary. The Democrats would have eaten themselves alive. Harris's strongest advantage is that she didn't have to pitch left for a primary and then veer back for the general. She's doing fine. The Democrats are in a far stronger position than they were in after Bidens last debate.
She just needs to get it over the line.

I think she takes NC, GA, WI, AZ and maybe MI.

Also could be an upset in FL where abortion and weed are on the ballot and Trump has to have alienated some of the Latino vote with his Haitian nonsense

I'm not saying she's a busted flesh in this election. I've argued this is on a knife edge...but it shouldn't be. She looks pretty weak to me.

His team have properly advised him to meet fellow travellers; I'm not sure Harris is doing her chances any good trying to persuade Republicans to vote for her by taking to shows they'd watch. She's not an evangelist type like Obama. She's just not that kind of persuasive candidate.

I didn't make it past this.

To be clear, we are at a point in our democratic experiment where Trump could literally kill someone like AOC in the middle of Fifth Avenue and still win the deep red states
